    Soon to be Harley owner?

I`m interested in what the re-born Sporty will be. It could potentially be a fun bike, I`ve ridden a few stage one or hot-rodded 883`s and 1200`s that were a blast. Will H-D stick with the slammed rear end, tiny tank, pegs in front of the engine etc. or deliver a proper roadster?

They`re a collectible now, I rode one once. Put politely... an interesting dog.

    Soon to be Harley owner?

Maybe when BMW Motorrad and Ducati get sold off to Bajaj or other Indian companies, H-D can hook up with them. :p The Street series tanked quickly, the Livewire is pretty much fried, bad pun, and even the Pan-Am`s are sneered at by the faithful. The Bronx may have had a chance and I`d bet this...

    Soon to be Harley owner?

If that bike is based on the Pan-Am ST, I`d stick with it or the ADV style Pan-Am. That thing is seriously fugly.

    COVID and the housing market

My neighbor, retired from 40 years in construction in the GTA and Boston cautions... "stay the hell away from condos". A couple friends in Durham got dinged for 30 grand in their big condo complex, as did all owners when their huge parking lot and walkway system needed replacing, paved and...

What to expect when attending CBSK race day

Were you there, I was, at the first WSBK when Falappa low sided into the bales there on the Ducati? One of the most spectacular crashes I`ve ever witnessed.

What to expect when attending CBSK race day

I`ve been going to Mosport/CTMP since `71. What to possibly expect....heat, wind, rain or sun, I`ve seen all in an afternoon, and a lot of walking. Even flurries on May weekends.. you`ll be OK though. Be prepared for it all. Don`t eat heavy, light sammiches, PBJ/PB and honey keep you going...

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

Somewhere there`s a sweet `82 Dodge Aries coupe, in beige naturally, calling your name. Go on....you know you want it. :p

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

Never owned an automatic except one, her drive, co-owned with the Ex. I figure I`ve got one more car and bike purchase left in me...what to do?

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

Current generation would sooner look at them on a phone. If they even want to drive. Just had the "Classics on Kent" and "Brits in the Park" here last weekend, over 200 cars. Mostly geezers and white hairs. EDIT: Local news today says it was over 500 cars and 10 thousand to 15 thousand, not...

    Insurance is coming up

I`m no claims and clean record too, forgot to mention it. Your numbers are wild, getting the horn like the flying Bison guy in Yellowstone.

    Insurance is coming up

I use Mitch and got a policy with Wawanesa for my Kawi Z900...$1193 yr. My house and car are with Desjardin,.. house... $1213 yr. valued at $700K. The dreaded Focus is $1003 yr. This is the first time I`ve ever cracked a grand for car insurance. All policies are full coverage. Always makes me go...

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

Dave should pack it in, same with Vince Neil. A few years ago I watched a widow just down the court I view from my deck, sell off the 4 classic cars her late husband had at the house. One by one they were driven away or left on a flatbed or on the hook. And she told me he had 2 more in storage...

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

I had a brief rip on one of those ATP Z1R TC`s...exciting. The Suzuki GS750 was the first Japanese bike where handling caught up to horsepower.(awesome bike btw). Bikes like the TC forced the evolution and gave us rides like the GS1000 and GPz900 Ninja, I owned both, they were great bikes.

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

I mentioned a while ago I can insure a `26 Hayabusa and a `26 H-D Road Glide for the same coin. Big cc and HP difference and out the door cost too . And I wouldn`t leave either outside a movie theater for a couple hours thinking it would be there when I returned.

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

Private sale used H-D`s can be had for a reasonable-ish price. Gotta` watch for issues with some model years that can add bucks into the purchase. Used HonYamKawSuz cruisers are a comparative bargoon. And some of them had issues too, the interwebs and owners forums are a help.

Why are cruisers so darn cheap?

For at least 15 years, from the mid to late 70`s (remember the `76 KZ900 LTD)? and on the big 4 from Japan sold boat loads of cruisers. Their lineups were loaded with `em. Now owners are finally getting around to selling them, probably years after moving on to something else. Cruisers never...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread
