What did you do in your garage today..?

One of the few things I need to remember or document, since the pressures are noted on the frame stickers (and for cars in the driver's door jamb).

What did you do in your garage today..?

I had a small tin with the brush attached to the screw lid that lasted over 10 years, then the last time I tried to use it, it was solid. I would buy another, but probably switch to the small one-time-use tubes for space savings.

What did you do in your garage today..?

@RC-31 taught me the trick of using rubber cement. None of the strings I've used have never been sealed, just sandwiched between 2 sheets of plastic and usually years old by the time I need the next one. The rubber cement makes installation easy while simultaneously ensuring a good seal.

In those cases, some need a button held down to be activated. Apparently a safety issue, but I hate it. When NOCO came out with their very first jump starter, it also had that feature and I hated it. Their current battery chargers require the same to charge when the battery voltage is low.

Battery YTX14-BS - anyone here using one?

LOL, missed out twice for my 990! Was going to post about being next in line after EZ's post, but figured it was a done deal and then ignored the thread. Oh well, hopefully it fits for the new owner.

Fusebox won't close due to the fuse tap - suggestions

I would just figure out which circuits are keyed and tee into it using a custom T made with OEM connectors. Better yet, post your issue on a site specific to your model - no sense in reinventing the wheel when other owners have most certainly done it before.

Anyone cut their own clip on tubes?

Here's an example of what Metal Supermarkets has in 6061 tube. You can filter on wall thickness if you have a specific preference: https://www.metalsupermarkets.com/product/aluminum-round-tube-6061/

That's how I ended up using the puller. The tips couldn't pull because the bevel made them slip, but for pushing they have a nice sharp corner.

That said, I was using these to grab the bottomed out portion of the race, not the inner curved surface that you already have exposed, so these actually may work. Just degrease well to avoid slipping.

What did you do in your garage today..?

A pic might help, but it sounds like you need a blind bearing puller. I tried a couple from Amazon, but they didn't work because the lips weren't sharp enough and I didn't want to spend the money on a good set only to find out the same. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01MS7J8CE

If you mean for the bearing to bottom out on when pressed in, punch it out from the opposite side. I had a similar problem on my narrow 990 sprocket carrier with a shoulder in the center of the carrier but also a captive floating spacer sandwiched between the two bearings. No way to punch it out...

    Motorcycle Battery in Lawnmower

Don't forget CCA is the cold cranking amps, and since you're likely only using the mower in the summer when the weather is warm, you can probably get away with less.
