There is no friction the spacers are removed. The only friction is the bearings. Can use the axle on a couple jack stands instead. Or a couple garbage cans at the track. Or on the bike.

This has been covered in another thread. Wheels can be balanced on the bike. No need for a stand.

With those guys I set it loose, and then readjust it to where it should be after tech.

Your insurance will not cover anyone under 25 unless specified. He may have been riding your bike uninsured.
