what r u paying for weed these days ?

I also grow, but if I had to buy I would try the $4.50 grams from OCS. ~$125/oz including tax/delivery to your door... not bad. Finally getting to the price point where it will put a dent in the black/grey markets. A couple years ago I switched to Bell Fiber, and the installation guy had to...

    Teksavvy vs Netflix

Wait - you have a Teksavvy STB _and_ a Roger's one? Who do you use for TV/Internet? Both?? Assuming for the moment you have a Teksavvy and watch television via IPTV - yes, I agree with what others have posted. Purchase a Chromecast with Google TV for everything EXCEPT live TV, and keep using...

Any members here that have sleds too?

This chap has some great body english, and just shows how great Japan can be for snowmobiling!! If I ever get to travel to Japan, snowmobiling in the mountains will be on my agenda right after visiting the Honda motorcycle museum :)

When did pick up trucks turn into cars?

Back in 2003 my (now) wife and I spent 10 months travelling around Australia and sleeping in the back of this beauty (modified 1980 model): After an accident with a Holden Jackeroo, we bought the Landcruiser - what an amazing way to see an amazing Country. Proud to say I crossed the...

When did pick up trucks turn into cars?

I went from a 2007 Power Wagon to a 2020 Ram 1500. I used my power wagon for a lot of "truck" stuff, including hauling massive loads and towing at the same time. I now need to tow a small trailer a lot more often, but I would never go back for my needs... all the fancy features of the new...

    Crown Land Camping

I love the Temagami area but haven't been there in a few years. Have you been down Red Squirrel Rd recently? I can only imagine how packed it has been during Covid...

Any members here that have sleds too?

I'm just guessing, but for snowmobiling at least it might have to do with grip, and sense of grip. Dirtbiking gloves are thin and easier to get a nice tight grip. Although winter mitts and gloves are improving, they are still usually big, bulky and much harder to "twist the wrist" in. That...

My buddy Stew sent this video of him starting his bike after winter storage... remember folks, check for critter nests!!! I've seen fires start from nests...

Maple sap buckets hung but the snow is deep

I love tapping 30-40 trees as a hobby. Sometimes I can get away with throwing our 65 gallon collection drum on an ATV, but for years like this I use a snowmobile to tow a drum on a sled.

    Your Age?

Checking the poll this morning shows over 3/4 of people that responded are over 40, and more than 1/2 are over 50... wow!

    Your Age?

I like how you can select multiple answers :P Is one for the age you are, and the other for the age you act?

Any members here that have sleds too?

You might want to consider a wide track or at least a long track for poking around off-trail - I love those old indy's but they are soooooo easy to get stuck. I had one that I used to loan to buddies but I eventually sold it because I ended up doing this all the time:

Any members here that have sleds too?

My oldest sled is a 1997 Skandic, but my Dad still rides his 1970 Ski Doo Olympic that he bought brand new in '69:

    Adventure Motorbike Camping

See my post from earlier in this thread: That being said, it's still a GREAT spot when it's not busy... so beautiful and so many small lakes right off the gravel road. It's perfect for car or motorcycle camping, and again, so beautiful. Here's some pics from an ATV weekend a few years ago to...

    Hitch carrier for dirt bikes

I agree with most that's been posted here, but I will add that my buddy Don drives ALL over Ontario with his setup, and has NEVER had an issue. Cruisin' at 120km/h for hours on the 401, or bouncing down fire/seasonal roads getting to our back-country campsites, again never an issue. He even...
