I’ve been working away at cleaning my ride and getting to know it better. Rear sprocket and chain looked decent, so I gave it a through clean and lube. The polished drive sprocket cover looked great but, wondered how the sprocket itself looked. I don’t know when the last time it was done...
Picked up one of these in Burlington. Light and compact and actually comfortable. Purchased at the store with additional 15% off the discounted price. Yes, more expensive than CTC but, the quality is pretty good.

Balsam Lake Provincial Park is $98 taxes and fees included for 2 nights. Can remember if I booked electric or not.
Firewood on the other hand can be expensive to keep going. On a bike, bringing cheaper local sourced stuff can be challenging.
Getting excited for motorcycle camping this July. Balsam Lake base camp and ride the “highlands”
Might not be as exciting as Ewan and Charley but, will do our best. I’m on the Bonnie and buddy on his R65.
I think as a new rider or even new driver, they don’t experience or witness the things seasoned riders do. Long weekend? It’s the best time to get out and ride!
For sure, I’ve encountered the absent minded driver that doesn’t see me or entitled driver that doesn’t care or just congestion...
It’s an astute observation when considering how much money spent on equipment to protect the important parts of our body.
As for the likes of me, it’s really a matter of which helmets I should retire as accumulating them along with everything else seems to be more of an issue. Have I checked...
I’m blessed with a career working from home and explore the roads when most are in the office. I also left the city life that made it helpful to just get out. Considering this forum is for the greater Toronto area, that isn’t the case for most.
Even when I rewind the clock back to my city...
Even Triumph adapts to the times. They add and remove models as trends come and go. The “standard” offers remain but, they dropped some models like the Thunderbird and Sprint. I suspect the Bobber will drop soon.
All this to say you can offer the classic models that have a following and...
I’m sure my pillion will continue with gardening. Fingers are crossed the weather cooperates. The Niagara run isn’t long but, it’s scenic and the destination is a nice spot to enjoy good food and beverages.
I’m sure many saw this and imagined what it looked like leading up to the photo?

We do the local Rona for social obedience training. They have treats at the customer service area and even at the cash out.
Was very handy during the winter in unpleasant outdoor conditions. Jump the the cafe with the pup and walk the isles of Rona. The garage is full of stuff to install...
Very comprehensive and thought out. Agree with all points.
I think another factor is having too much of a good thing. When the 600 SS class became popular, it was awesome.
After a few years, a few deaths, red line revs at red lights, and riders complaining there are no good places to...
There is a reason so many riders have VStroms! 🤣
Street glide looks the best for sure. 😉 Many friends ride Ultras and then get the removable top box and change out the seat for the street glide look.
Then the street glide riders, end up getting a comfortable seat for the squeeze and back...
Hey Mike,
Personally, I prefer the Road Glide over Street Glide/Ultra. Fixed fairing cuts the air smoother.
Look at anything 2009 or newer. Older versions have issues with the frame affecting steering shake while turning.
Not sure when they updated the panniers to open easier. Might be...
Once I experienced a minivan with sliding doors that allowed the windows to roll down, I couldn’t imagine having a van without.
While the buzz is appealing, that little port window is a let down. And the range for such a large vehicle is also a let down.
If VW is to be the people’s car...
The comprise my wife and I have is living in NZ. Not that Australia is a bad palace. It’s amazing actually. But dreams of relocating, New Zealand would be our pick. If funds were not a concern.
Back to weather! Seems like a beauty today!
