Your last sentence sums it up. It's a catch-22 situation. If adding self-driving tech increases sales, they'll just keep adding it to their lineup. Then when the government sees the "benefit" of this tech for a subset of people who really should have the skills but don't, they step in and...
We mainly use these services when there's a deal that makes the overall cost about the same or less than for us to pick up. Some restaurants are 25 minutes away, which is almost an hour round trip for us to pick up, and if we have to take the MDX a trip like that would use about $7 in gas...
I ordered directly off the Harvey’s web site and there was no additional charge for delivery (just the driver’s tip) or mention of Uber until I called to complain. This location is also a Swiss Chalet that we regularly get delivery from with good results, but clearly they don’t share drivers.
We ordered food for delivery tonight and specifically chose NO contactless delivery. Wondering what was taking so long, we looked outside and saw the bag just left on our porch without even ringing the bell. It was out there long enough that the food was actually cold - not even room...

Looks like a good solution, but if someone wants to actually replace their grips because of a bad element, Oxford sells their grips separately from the controller. Some bikes use the same connector and are plug and play. Otherwise, it's easy enough to splice the OEM connectors from the old grips...
