Nah, I think you know manual mode isn't exactly like a clutch, I'm sure it works great, but you can't feather it. I'm not ready to let that go. I've never found the clutch to be hard in city rides at slow speeds etc.. more the heat when not moving.

    Plumber East End

Every time I have to deal with the city, I'm very surprised how it's run. I'm shaking my head right now as I type this. I try to avoid as much as possible to call them for anything. Just not worth it. Making this worse the rest of the municipalities seem to be the same from your experience.

    Plumber East End

Lol. Sht happens :ROFLMAO: The 30 ft is still on my side. Actually just reaches the front of the house. One thing of interest the plumber mentioned. The main line would go to the side of the house and bend back to the front where the main water comes in. This is so they dig one trench to do...

    Plumber East End

I CAN POOP AGAIN! Had a plumber come by today to snake the main drain under the toilet. At first it didn't seem to work, then they tried the floor drain, I said lets try the toilet drain again and it worked! The blockage was cleared. They also sent the camera down. There were some roots...

    Another thing too

Congrats! More new bike fun! So hold on, you bough this new bike, and you had a misshap on the same time? Crazy, buy a lotto ticket!?

Thanks Jayell. Lol. I knew this would come up. I did, it took me a week. 🤦‍♂️ Also used Mothers Back to Black and bartenders friend, magical stuff. I have a better technique now to apply chain lube. Plus Honda recommends oiling it every 1000k so I don't have to apply it like crazy.

Thanks! Hopefully I can find out, if we get some bit warmer weather I can do a longer ride to see how it all works.

Lots! Better suspension, cruise control, heated grips, some wind protection, moar power, and styling. (y) Gotta get the stand to lift up rear wheel for maintenance.

Lol I never thought about that, was a fan of the comics and cartoons back in the day. Still have it, I will have an update on the Harley later this year I may have found a local machine shop!

At first I wasn't too keen on this Tri colour scheme, I really wanted version with mostly white, but it grew on me. Plus I think it will help get noticed on the road, we can only hope! Funny you mention the cactus, I was just thinking I will have to resume my search as all the garden centres...

Thanks, I'll go through it. One thing which would be nice is a lock for the ride modes. I've accidentally swapped modes mid ride and was WTF.

Dude so right, soo many buttons. I have no idea what the logic is behind these controls. The user manual also is terrible. Every feature refers you to another page in the book. I'm getting use to it but... jebus!

Thanks, I honestly think you influenced my interest in the QS when I heard you had it on the Duc, then did some research on it, and for this bike. It could be a lot of fun :devilish:

Snow city, same place I got the vStrom, they gave me a decent price for the trade and a bit of a discount. I saw the same sales agent at the motorcycle show and we got talking, all went very easy. I reached out to GP bikes as well, but honestly they kept asking me a bunch of dumb questions, so I...

Thanks! Honestly me either, but things just happened. Plus I had the vStrom perfectly setup for me... But this is the bike I really wanted, couldn't resist!

Thanks! No stand yet, but will be looking for it very soon. Haha, I forgot to mention, yes this is the manual version, good eye! I don't think I am ready for DCT. I know you liked it, so did a lot of other people.... but... I do have plans for the quick shifter ;)

You are totally right, I was thinking the centre stand IS the first thing I should get, will make maintenance much easier. I can't event check the oil correctly without putting the bike upright. Then maybe the windshield, I need a bit more height to make it perfect.
