    Where to get a puppy?

Apparently, the person with control of the dog is legally the owner by their interpretation of law. Now, if a dog attacked someone, I am sure everybody will be listed in the lawsuit (11 yo, their parents, you, etc). The reason that attack got a goose-egg was once the walker was declared an...

I suspect that "so" is supposed to be "no".

Should Ontario ban outlaw biker club names, logos in public

That's a law problem, not a biker problem. Laws make minors almost invincible. It would be easy enough to change laws so that if you commit adult crimes, you get adult punishments regardless of your age. I have no problem with giving dumb kids a second chance for graffiti or shop lifting. If...

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

There are no quotas donchaknow. Only "performance standards".

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

That would require some semblance of ethics to exist now so it could be lost.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I don't like tons of weight on a floating floor. My parents previous kitchen floor was lvp and would pop apart in front of the fridge. I assume the island has a known and fixed location. I'd probably build a support box ~8" inside the cabinets and install flooring around that box with an...

The front of one is a very unusual design. I suspect that may scare away some ppotential buyers.

    Anyone Seen A Missing ATM?

Way more dollars per cop. >10% on permanent paid vacation. That often leads to very few cops working even though the budgets are huge. Police could easily fill their rosters at <$70k per cop, have double the cops and no reduction in quality of employees.

    Clutchless Shifting or better shifting

Slipper clutch helps you feel like a hero. As long as engine rpm is not too high, clutch solves the wheel speed being too high for engine speed. Obviously some blip helps as a big speed differential can feel weird and muddy.

    Groundhog bait?

1250 fps? Interesting. It looks like they sell 500 and 1250 fps for the same price. Libs will probably ban both soon as the 500 looks like a scary version than is therefore and assault style firearm. Looking at bylaws and some towns have an interesting quirk. They class all bb guns and bows as...

    Anyone Seen A Missing ATM?

But no tax strip on rez cigs. Easier to sell "legal" cigarettes. I assume that those grabbing garbage bags of cigs in a Supra were not using them all for personal consumption.

    Groundhog bait?

You are opening yourself up for charges and public lynching by animal welfare people for taking animals swimming. Be careful who/what is watching. Exhaust into a garbage bag is equally effective, less traumatic for the animal and probably doesn't get you charged.

    Anyone Seen A Missing ATM?

If I'm bothering to steal ATM's with heavy equipment, ensuring that I have a jammer on board seems like a smart part of the plan. If you want to get fancy, you could probably build a faraday cage inside the van/truck but that's harder.

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Two tow truck drivers racing to a crash drove on the sidewalk, crashed into the existing crash and took off. Thankfully they caught them both. Unfortunately, there is a zero percent chance that they get the appropriate sentence of no Ontario license for the rest of their lives...

    Good news thread

I went to a pre ww1 car show last year. It was amazing. Some of the guys have cruising clubs and go on multi-day, multi-thousand km adventures. That sounds awesome. EDIT: Here is link for this years show. Aug 22-23. Hundreds of vehicles there last year. Mostly cars but some bikes and a...

Are you allowed to take a course with an active firearm prohibition? You are touching firearms in the course. I don't know if the prohibition has exceptions for supervision.

    Good news thread

Turning a rusted shell of a ferrari into a pebble beach winner is definitely not printing money. It's a miracle if you break even. That whole video was a turd. Originals are worth more due to scarcity. Repops have unlimited quantity. It is interesting watching prices rise and fall for various...
