What's going on with this tire?

You take the wheel off and roll it to either bag it, or throw in the back seat/trunk you have to see the gaping scar, and wobble as it rolls. Probably young kid getting the grunt job and rolling with one had with the phone in the other and not watching...that's my scientific theory.

What's going on with this tire?

It looks like someone took a belt sander to it, or it was stored beside something that vibrates wildly. My question is how did it get taken off at spring time and stored when it looked like that? I am real thrifty, but even I wouldn't put a tire like that on, even a summer tire.

    Not sure how i feel

Every parent's nightmare. I would go out for a ride with him, separate bikes. If you trust his riding capabilities, then you ride as passenger with him. Man that is a tough position to be in.

    2025 Day Trips!

I saw on the weather app it was the last double digit day for a long time. Time to head up north. It was 4 with a wicked West wind, from Mississauga, Milton, Burlington, or maybe that’s another thread. Glad I had the heated liner and gloves as it got colder the more North I got. Duh. I had the...

    Knowing Better

I have mine on a trickle charger all the time. The battery is an AGM finishing the 9th year. I am going to order another one in the Spring as I think I am on borrowed time. As long as they are fully charged or charging, I think you are okay. Mine is an unheated garage. Went for a ride...

    2025 GTA Photo Tag!

Tough enough having electrical issues during the day, last night would have been a big problem to break down. Hope you get it solved.

    Knowing Better

I remember that day. I went for a ride and I could feel salt grit in my teeth as I was grinning how great to be out riding. I worry about leaving the bike with salt dust all over it until spring. I change the oil and filter in the bike and lawnmower at the end of the season too.

Where are the Toronto Jays fans

I think Halloween is going to be postponed.

    TV shows currently watching

That's too bad as I thought season 1 was so well done, Season 2 was okay. We are watching Parenthood (6 Seasons) on Netflix. It is really good. I guess we are really behind.

    2025 GTA Photo Tag!

Okay, have to admit, the West does move it a lot more. But I think hamburgers are a big influencer.

    2025 GTA Photo Tag!

Let me correct that, Midtown, Downtown goes to die. North and East of the city; game on!

Where are the Toronto Jays fans

I’ve given up on pro sports (still a bit of love for the Leafs though) and I must admit I’ve been watching the highlights after the games and very happy they are going to the big show. Amazing really. Go Jays Go.

    AGV helmet recall

I bought an AGV K-5 S at the bike show and really like it. Much lighter than my Shark modular and very quiet (not as quiet as my old Shoei RF1000 though). Hopefully no recall on this one.

Hey @PrivatePilot how did the trip go. Where have you been? We miss you!

    Metric socket head cap screws

A long shot but what I did, specific for my bike was on eBay I bought a bag of fasteners from a bike breaker. It was a few years ago when shipping from the US was cheap. It weighed 15lbs as he had all kinds of brackets and even some relays. I still go to that bag at least 2x per season for me...

What did you do in your garage today..?

I was going to flush it with tap water then I thought, I will just use the new coolant and maybe drain next year instead of waiting two years. I thought about getting the concentrated stuff and adding my own distilled water. But I took the short cut and used the pre-mix. The manual stresses...

What did you do in your garage today..?

This makes sense. The engine drain plugs location is horrible, hence the hose removal. Also would be less mess. I think I will just drain the radiator every couple of years and refill that amount. That should be good enough. This coolant says 250,000 km change interval.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Thanks, I have a few of those and have had the washers roll away into the fastener eating garage floor. Thanks for the link, I would never have thought of F9 for hardware.

What did you do in your garage today..?

And different kinds. Flat ones, recessed ones. I wish they stuck to one fastener style . To take all those off there was a 5 mm hex, JIS screws (philips), and 10mm wrench. I thought I could do it in my sleep but messed up the order on the right side and had to do it twice. Amazing how with each...
