Not knowing why you got a bike is a good enough reason lol. Congrats on the bike. Glad that you and the bike stayed upright. Crazy that it would happen riding a new bike home but glad you made it safe.
Maybe not handy or doesn't have the time or doesn't care enough? An assumption, looking at the truck he's probably a trades guy working a busy job?
5-6 years ago when covid hit, I got the SV and it was from a guy working trades doing 12 hour shifts. Was saving up for a house (or something like...
Cool pics...this thread gives photo tag vibes.
Buddy has a zx7 that hasn't moved in 5 years. Sent this to him saying this is what his bike could look like. I could get it off of him but tapped out for space (skill, and monies) to take it apart and put it back. All this to say, your bike looks...
Moved to a condo with no parking because I was getting it for much cheaper rent. So my vehicles are parked elsewhere and it's a royal pain in the a**. I think thrice if I have to go out, and mostly end up staying at home.
I fired up the bike recently in the parking and someone complained to the...
I have no doubt the helmet will survive the trip, especially when packed properly. The concern would be structural integrity after surviving the trip. But also, when buying helmets from online stores (sometimes internationally), these are shipped in a box and majority of us wear it without much...
I'd be concerned about checking in helmet just due to the way luggages are handled, despite packing it well. I suppose one could always take it with them as a personal item? Would fit under the seat. Personally never came across a situation where I'm transporting motogear so I'm just thinking...

Without much context, I was told that they ship out of St Cathrines (talking about helmet liquidation).
Came across this site and wanted to check if anyone has experience with them. Prices on KYT helmets are heavily discounted, almost makes me wonder it's too good to be true.
On a side note, eurorace.ca also run similar discounts. I found out about this website through them.
Sh*t...missed it. Anyways, planning to visit the show on Sat, fingers crossed.
As for this year's riding, a couple of quebec trips would be nice. Haven't done many (read any) out of province trips on the bike so far. Let's see.
Helmet shopping gives me a nightmare now. I have 3 helmets and 1 bike lol. Only the HJC CL17 (which is an older model) has no pressure points. I have a HJC i10 of which the headliners push into the back of my head after an hour or so. I have pressure points on the back of my head on one of the...
