Anyone heard of HelmetLiquidation.com

Came across this site and wanted to check if anyone has experience with them. Prices on KYT helmets are heavily discounted, almost makes me wonder it's too good to be true.

On a side note, eurorace.ca also run similar discounts. I found out about this website through them.

I don't know man.... no return policy.... bare bones website. Not putting my head it in.

Virtually no mention of it on google.com from any customers or reviews, apart from their own website and their own Instagram account:

https://www.google.com/search?q="helmetliquidation.com"

Also, the contact page is just a web-form:

No phone number or address for a physical store or office. If they take your money and don't deliver, how will you contact them?

Looks like a scam site to me.

I thought so too. Just too good to be true. Thanks for backing it up with data :)

I'm not saying it's legit, but there's a trend in online shops to not publish anything other than a contact form - no physical address, phone number, or even email. Even well-established places like Expedia and Amazon make it almost impossible to contact them for issues unless you know how to navigate to their contact page. That said, every company has to start somewhere. Remember when GP Bikes was a small unit in a strip plaza with just a couple of used bikes? I bought some really cheap brand name gear from some questionable web sites and relied on my credit card's zero-liability policy in case they didn't arrive, but all went well and no fraudulent charges since.

Okay, so I did a bit of Interweb sleuthing (because I'm very fun at parties), and from what I've been able to piece together, this is what I think is happening:

There was/is a company called Eurorace based in Edmonton. They import Ohvale race motorcycles from Italy, and also used to be the importer for KYT helmets, who are based in Indonesia.

On November 17th of last year, KYT America announced that they were taking over the Canadian business:

Seems to jive with the Sept 2025 domain name registration date for helmetliquidation.com. As KYT probably gave Eurorace a few months advance notice that KYT America was taking over.

Based on the similarity between the eurorace.ca and helmetliquidation.com sites and exact same pricing, I think this is Eurorace trying to get rid of their KYT helmet stock since they are no longer the importer moving forward. From their Instagram account, there are references and tags to kytcanada.ca (now defunct).

Why Eurorace has a 647 number, I don't know, but their Facebook page states they are in Edmonton? 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, this is just me being bored for 10 minutes or so... take all of this with a grain of salt. Maybe call the 647 number and see what's up and see if you're willing to risk three or four brown bills for a cheap lid.

@Lightcycle that makes sense. KYT was at the recent motorcycle show. I was chatting with their rep, they're based out of PA for now.

Without much context, I was told that they ship out of St Cathrines (talking about helmet liquidation).
