Turbo cars are harder on plugs. The DISI 2.3T in my old CX-7 would eat a NGK Iridium within 100k. The ones in our Odyssey with it's NA motor have a recommended change interval of 160k per Honda and owners say even at that mileage they often come out looking great.
I run a NGK Iridium in my 300XC...
Just an fyi to check with your insurance as they'll roll you back to "new rider/first bike" rates if you go for a certain time without having continual bike insurance (IIRC mine was ~3 months).
I put 45,000km on my 2016 Multistrada 1200S and my maintenance costs over that distance/time was $800 (the desmo/belt/filter service at 32,000km which was done at Kens). Nothing broke, always dependable, friggin loved that bike and still wish I had one (character, overall finishings, and the...
The AT is huge (neighbour has one), doubt it's what you want but sit on one and see. My buddy has the Transalp and it feels like a mountainbike in comparison to the AT (and my SAR). Hard to find a Transalp for a good price though as they're quite coveted.
VFR has you stuck riding the same old...
Agreed, I enjoy how the movie followed the style of the TV show with music an important part of the story telling. I've seen the movie around 6 times now and due for a 7th.
Sounds like my local Honda dealer who lets the oil filter on the Odyssey drain into the front cradle (hollow) when doing an oil change. Oil covered van bottom and oil drips on a new garage floor. I change my own oil now.
Another option is raising tire pressure a bit more than your door jam sticker states. Just keep it under the tires max pressure and measure both hot and cold. Do a chalk test when you pick a pressure.
I run 38psi whereas my sticker calls for 35. Well within the max tire pressure.
I do the same with a ccm hockey bag as the venting really helps. It mostly stays in the storage room and swap snowboard gear with MC/MX gear depending on season.
I'm no Merc fan but Kimi seems like a nice kid so I hope he does well. Russell on the other hand is too smug and annoys me.
Hamilton has gone from being the constant whiner at Merc to being quite likeable at Ferrari. I've always been a Ferrari fan (being one of the first pictures on my wall as a...
Ducs are easy, just roll the date back in the display and it thinks it doesn't need a service yet. You can still have the correct day/month visual if you need that, just leave it in 2023 :)
KTM you can reset them yourself.
BMW requires an ~$75 app that, last time I checked, was only available...
On the newer 1290 Super Adventure's you can get at everything with just a tilt of the skidplate. Of course the crash bars are directly in front of the screws to allow that though and they take twice as long to remove as the skidplate would be.
I came close to buying one of those when Blackfoot was blowing them out for peanuts after a couple years of sitting on the sales floor. Sadly the fuel range pretty much limits it to bike nights anyways (ok not that terrible but close).
This reminds me of that one time I was replacing door speakers with aftermarket and mounted the new expensive speaker to an adaptor plate only to realize the speaker wire required a larger hole in the adaptor to get through. Being tired/lazy I figured "I'll be careful and I have enough clearance...
Took the big KTM for a quick ride to make sure no surprises and no undetected mice crawled in. Was nice to be out on two. Original fob battery was getting low so popped in a new one and updated the Garmin XT and good to go. Have a few thousand km to go before I need to decide on what to replace...
I've seen it a few times and you'd think the other seagulls would scatter when it happens but they just keep on doing what they're doing and accept that it's going to happen.
