    How`s your house pricing doing?..

Yes......early chips in AFCI's needed to be altered because they tripped on sine wave signatures of a series fault, which was also similar to exaust fan motors vacuums, and drills.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

I sat on the Electro Federation for years and was a voting member when manufacturers spearheaded by Eaton, Schneider, Siemens and GE, to get the CE Code changed to require ACFI's in bedroom circuits - their reasoning was bedrooms had dressers that usually had things plugged in behind them and if...

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

x2.....the builders grade receptacles, switches and dimmers are garbage. Plugs/switches I like Leviton or Eaton and dimmers I use nothing but Lutron (Caseta - no one every complained about a little more $$ for lighting controls)

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

AFCI is arc fault circuit interrupters. You are grandfathered for this unless you do a reno then anything you touch or that is part of and included in the renovation needs to be changed so that it is up to code. I'm a master electrician and I do not have any in my house - just bathroom GFI's...

    New boats $$$$$$$$$$

If we are putting our boat in and they are in front of us we help them to get the line moving. If we are out and putting our stuff away it is nice entertainment after a nice day fishing.

    New boats $$$$$$$$$$

#5.......see them at boat launches all the time. After the 4th or 5th attempt they get our of their under powered car (Honda Civic or Hyundai) and look at the boat like it did them a dirty ;)

    New boats $$$$$$$$$$

Boat pricing like most toys never came down after COVID. I was fortunate and placed my order for a StarCraft 168 with a Evinrude 90 eTEC back in the winter of 2019 to be picked up in spring of 2020. I paid just under $40k at the time and did not trade in my Sylvain Explorer 1600 SC with 40HP...

The Toronto Motorcycle and Powersport Show - Feb 20-22 @ Exhibition Place

I might come out on Sunday. Was in North Carolina this week (Charlotte - Greensboro - Raleigh - Fayetteville) and saw way too many guys out enjoying their bikes so feeling a tad envious.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Yep, it is not the faint of heart. I never spent a winter up north but spent 2 fire seasons based out of Ignace and I have never been humbled by something so small as a black fly before - wow was that an eye opener. Last year we did a 1 week fly in fishing trip out of White River in early June...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

I doubt anything will change with carney gunning for a majority - that is 30,000 voters for the Liberals right there. I would sure like to know how the executives are making out come bonus time. If this was a company they would be kicked out the door quickly it would make ones head spin, but...

    COVID and the housing market

In Burlington my office had a farm across the street (Appleby and U Middle) that was purchased by a developer. Every year they planted soy beans in that small field (maybe 15-20 acres). I asked my farmer buddy and he said it was for tax purposes - ag land is cheap, but other is treated like...

What did you do in your garage today..?

I would much rather have it cold and snow than that gray -5 and hard ground - at least you can sled, ice fish, show shoe. What small planes are you in? 172's or Beavers/Otters? Are they on ski's or wheels?

What did you do in your garage today..?

Well looks like it's going back down to minus stupid on Saturday/Sunday/Monday so I decided to leave the heated grips for another week and installed my Cardo on my helmet in the warmth and comfort of my man cave while watching Big 10 Hockey - Penn State vs Michigan State and enjoying an old...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Looks like the LT forecast shows a bit of a temp warm up. I will start moving things around the garage to give me some room as I need to install my Triumph heated grips and Givi handguards. Not a terribly difficult project but I just need to make some room in my 1 car garage to do the work...
