    Chigee

I can't say to be honest. It's definitely way less than having the screen on max brightness, probably the same as any other bluetooth device you would be paired to like bluetooth headphones/speaker/whatever. I usually keep my phone plugged in and charging in my pocket for any kind of ride over...

    Chigee

For me the biggest one @Priller mentioned is the lack of wear on my phone battery. Having to have my phone simultaneously charging and on max brightness is really hard on the battery. You feel it in how hot your phone gets on long days of riding like this. If you aren't charging it at the same...

If you see me there, and we know each other, I have a concussion, be prepared, this will be me:

Carpuride offers to pay YouTubers and other influencers for reviews. Then when we publish a review that's fair and balanced instead of basically a glorified sales promotion for them, they don't pay and ask you to redo it. Ask me how I know. As for Chigee, if you need BMW compatibility, that's a...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Yep, it's more of a failsafe than anything. Like if I somehow manage to rip or damage the pull cord, it's there. Has that ever happened in the history of man? Maybe, maybe not. If I didn't have the electric start option would it totally happen to me? Knowing my luck lately, 100% yes lol.

What did you do in your garage today..?

We bought our Honda HS720 several years ago from Powersports TO and absolutely love it. We looked at the two stage machines, but we thought I might go away for winters some time so I wanted to leave something that was light enough the missus could handle herself if I wasn't around. We were...

What did you do in your garage today..?

If you're going to boost it first, just drive it to a mall with a couple levels of free underground parking or if you have a friend in a condo building that's good too. I may or may not have gone to Dufferin Mall's underground parking 10+ years ago to do some maintenance on my winter beater...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Honestly it's a motivator for me to stay away from those upper trims and models where everything is integrated and/or fancy. it's nuts. My in-laws hit a deer a while back with his F150, they quoted him about $1,100 to replace the grill because it was a highest trim... The highest trim on a F150...

What did you do in your garage today..?

I hate that. My old F150, I could disconnect and take out the battery in seconds. Two nuts, easy peasy. By comparison my new (to me) F150, you have to know a guy, join a cult, learn the secret handshake, and sacrifice a virgin to take four pieces off to change the thing. Why?!?

Installing crash bars on Triumph Tiger Sport 660

If it helps, now that you've spent 7 labour hours, plus those of your helpers, the bike will never go down. That's Murphy's Law. That's the good news. Bad news is, after this you probably won't buy crash bars for your next bike. Murphy's Law will step in there too.

Agreed. But try asking bureaucrats to keep up with the times.

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

It's good to have dreams. Next you can tell me how licensing and gun bans will stop gun violence lol The guys riding illegal Amazon pocket dirt bikes along Eglinton Ave. W. in and out of traffic, running red lights with no helmets on, are way more of an issue than any ebiker I've come across...

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

First impression: Wow, that's crazy, let's get these things off the road. Won't someone think of the children?! Second impression: The fact that we have a 'ebikes rampaging toronto streets thread', but it took 7 years and 300+ replies before the thread saw any actual "rampaging", and that the...

What did you do in your garage today..?

No sir. I will not let you throw away the reputation and credibility you've earned in this community. Don't say "Dunno why" when you know exactly why lol Do it right? 🚫 Do it cheap? ✅ Royal-Enfield being Royal-Enfield.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Looks way better. The lack of consistency of colors across and finishes across all the different motor-related stuff in the frame always bugged me about those 650s.

    Authenticity

Yep. Had to get a Booster Plug to smooth out the T120. Well, I didn't "have to" have to, but, I had to.

    Authenticity

Yep. Words for the sake of words. I have 28,000 subscribers on YouTube and haven't published a new video in three months. I don't believe in words for the sake of words. Other people have employers who give them targets they have to hit in exchange for money they need to make. They make...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Because when you message the person, Facebook literally shows you a notification saying that the person is unlikely to reply, and asks you whether or not you'd like to send it anyway. Try it, you'll see.

    2025/26 winter motorcycle projects?

I bought a mint Honda CBR300R for peanuts. It's mint until you realize the bike is neglected for 5+ years. So it's going to get new brake fluid, oil, filter, fuel, probably coolant too if I can figure out how to do that without making a mess. Also some new tires. I also have a Triumph Speed 400...
