    Stocks

My advice isn't for everyone but if you don't have people depending on you front end load what's left of your life. A) You never know B) If you end up in a hell hole squat you can out-brag your roomies.

    Weathers warming up

If someone street parks the plow swerves around them and the cleared zone is eight feet from the curb. Then people park three feet away from the bank. (The law says no more than twelve inches)

    Weathers warming up

Streets in Toronto are 6 to ten feet narrower due to snirt piles. Lot of grit.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

I'm a supporter of passive systems so the 2X6 walls and insulation are OK. Building materials are subject to inflation like everything else so copper pipe and wire are a necessary evil. A 4000 SF house has ~ twice the evil of a 2000 footer. Heat recovery systems, mixer valves, sprinkler...

    Saw amazing today...

Some of that was a setup. Put a caged animal where a Raptor usually perched. Camera operator in a blind with a release switch.

Some of that stuff is also expensive to maintain.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

The problem is naïve clients. No inspections for roofing or siding. Ten years later the shortcuts have become a six figure fix.

It could also mean they don't have the skills or experience.

F@ck Uber and the car they rode in on

A friend bailed out his son and D-I-L under the condition they stop buying stuff. The next time he went to see them they had a new stereo. "We leased it" :(

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Sadly, a lot of victims are too spiritually and financial broken to go after justice.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Excuse me? In Toronto contractors hire unskilled labourers, give them a days training and turn them loose on other people's houses. Their interests in the project end with the cheque being cashed.

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Possession of goods obtained by crime. My brother was a cop many years ago and sadly not the epitome of honesty. He seemed to know about how scams worked, possibly because the police would get the first heads up on a new one. If you hear of a new Ponzi scheme, get in fast, double your money...

F@ck Uber and the car they rode in on

I hope your best friend isn't thinking of marrying the chick. I knew a very pleasant lady that got dumped by her hubby "Honey, I love you but can't afford you"

I used screwed on some aluminum siding. It was easier to control the set. BTW the same for roofing shingles. Drive the nails too deep and leak points can occur. The neighbour just replaced a 12 YO roof.

Stay Dry! Stay Warm! Sit at Home with a VR Headset!

Arthritis after 50 YO is an issue for turning heads to reverse or shoulder check.

F@ck Uber and the car they rode in on

Stand in line for 15 minutes for a coffee and muffin? I use the drive thru because it gets priority. Not only is the system bad, some people waiting for their food step outside to cell yap while the server is calling their number. Then they whine about cold food.

Stay Dry! Stay Warm! Sit at Home with a VR Headset!

North of Superior played at the Cinesphere was a form of VR and had timid people freaking out. Shut your eyes and you're just sitting in a chair. I miss it. Were there any motorcycle Imax films?

It's like marrying a gorgeous blonde and then finding out her father owns a bar. :)

F@ck Uber and the car they rode in on

One of these days I'll try Uber or an equal but right now eating out is part of the treat.
