With ads on Kijiji and FB I ended up selling everything on FB. Almost all of my used bikes come from Kijiji though..
Kijiji has a great search function but the traffic is just not there.
A buddy just keeps the hits coming...
(for the KLR guys.)
Getting my sled up and running inspired this one.
(Been riding with this guy for almost 30 years. He's helped me get my bike up right many times, boosted my bike in the bush using two wrenches as jumper cables times and even doubled...
Was out looking and the higher amp chargers have a range but the low end is 6amp. Can you trickle charge at 6a? The more I look it looks like I should be buying 2 chargers.
That's the main attraction for us. Getting in and checking out old building and house. McCormicks in London for example. The fifth floor office space was awesome. Beautiful wood work with leaded glass panels labels on the doors in gold script. Not to mention all the glass block walls. Drive by...
Sounds like a KLR friendly ride. Not sure what's on for April yet though.
Are you thinking mostly a fishing trip or you plan to the Travel Gravel up there?
My buddy saw the video of my sled running after I put in the new seal and it inspired him to write a song about me - the first one on his brand spanking 150 year old guitar he recently purchased. It had me and Squeeze in stitches.
That's our thought exactly. The house is still very solid and could still be recouped, but scrappers have been in tearing down drywall to yank out copper wire.
The house was surrounded by trees which the owner somehow got permission to cut down. 250 homes are slated for the property, however the home has been deemed a heritage property so that's a spanner in the works. The house now sits in a field and we could find no trace of that barn
Any time of year is a good time for urban exploring. Together with the Squeeze, our son and his BF we took in this cool mid-century modern house. Once inside you realize for such a large house it's not very big. Hack off the indoor pool, the garage and decks and it's probably smaller than new...
That's similar to my old one. The switch bottom right is similar to mine i that there is no 2amp trickle for 6V batteries. If you're not careful it will boil a 6V. That says 70amp boost mine was only 10 amp but really good for a bike boost.
Is 2 amp trickle for a 6V hard to find?
Thanks guys. I have a few tenders that I use on the main stuff but they are all 12V. I still need something for a 6V battery from my little Honda.
And again I really like having the 10 amp boost mode for anything those times that something is sluggish.
And @Mad Mike is correct any lithium in...
A buddy has borrowed my charger long enough I've decided it's his.
The one I loaned was a 12/6V charger with a 10 amp engine boost mode for 12V. That engine boost mode was great for anything cranky (no pun intended).
Any one recommend a unit with 12/6V trickle charge and an engine boost mode?
Right now I'm trying to find a coolant leak on my sled. After putting in a new crank seal the old girl has gained her Jam. A few test and tune runs up the street have me anxious to solve the leak and hit the trails.
