    F1 Thread!!!

I have been following F1 only through highlights this season except for maybe 1 race where I watched the entire race. The youngest ever WDC Kimi Antonelli. Despite the general negative commentary (mainly about the car - which is fair) I feel he did a great job. It takes consistency to achieve...

    2005 Volvo S40

Not using the car enough to justify insurance, parking, and all other expenses that come along with the ownership. Decent shape, no rust, and saftied. Since I have saftied it and having taken care of everything, I'm unable to offer a discount on this price. Check extra info tab to read the...

    Helmet Imprint!

I have had this issue with a HJC i10 and AGV K1. I think I may have started a thread for this a while back... From my understanding your current helmet shape doesn't match your head shape. At least that was the case with me. I now have a HJC C17 from a friend who wasn't using it, and that seems...

    2026 Rides

Did a 800 something km trip last weekend to check if there were any fall colours left. Not much and it was really chilly (w/o heated gear), but on the flipside the traffic was less until afternoon. I did the route @kurtrules posted earlier but west to east, and some minor changes. I hadn't been...

    Best airbags of 2024

I though this maybe better asked here rather than starting a new thread. Saw a guy at Grand Bend yesterday at KSR trackday who had Hit Airvest on their one piece suit. I'm fairly certain it wasn't the race/track version but rather one of their newer models called Advantage...

    Fall colours

Here are a couple of pics from me. I joined @Norcorider and his friend this past weekend. It rained just enough to soak my socks, and the potential of staying out for a bit longer went out of the window. It was a nice ride nonetheless and the scenery looked gorgeous.

    Laid-off? GTAM Members looking-out.....???

Networking and referral seems to be the number one way to go about job search. 2 decades in the industry is a fair bit of time and I'm sure that you know a lot of folks. Only thing you need to do is figure out what role you'd like. The rest will follow. :) All the best!

Service Ontario - Bike Registration Question

When I transferred the ownership on the race bike earlier this year (surprisingly came with an ownership), I put the value as gift and paid whatever bare minimum taxes. The owner was cool with it (he had signed the ownership and wasn't present) and the bike I got was a 2001/2002. When asked, I...

    Tool Deals Thread

The reviews don't look too promising for the drill. But it's few and I suppose if people have a good experience with a product, they seldom come and post. I was looking for a cordless impact and a cordless drill myself. Might pull the trigger on this one.

Getting bike from Algonquin area to TO - Best Option

A buddy and I had rented a u-haul trailer. 19$ for the trailer but then additional 19$ for insurance. Does no one get the insurance while renting out a trailer?

    Riding an e-scooter in Toronto?

If the info in that thread is more or less accurate, it looks like the victim is looking for a big payday. Many years ago, my then landlord was sharing the story folks hanging around in walmart. If the floor is wet and there was not signage, they would walk through the aisle and fall over on...

    Covered Bridges Ride

Looks like a fun trip Shane. Thanks for the write up and pics. I haven't been on Chetwynd Road yet, so good opportunity for me to head north again. Glad you made it back safe. How were the roads in Mount Laurier? On the maps, they all look twisty and fun. Also, laughed out when I read you...

    TMP vs. SMP

Been to TMP once for a car track day, wasn't a very pleasant experience due to how it was organized. The track itself can be fun. Not sure how good RDT is, never done their track days.
