Wow, you had the rare OEM top box. If I behave on the throttle I can get 450 km before the low fuel light comes on. In a headwind or crosswind the mileage really drops.
The driving lights suck up a lot of power but they light up the night and are focused. I tried to find LED bulbs that work...
I keep them as long as I still love swinging a leg over and going out for a ride and I am grinning. I will keep it as long as I can do most of the maintenance and still enjoy it. Shortest ownership was the 1982 Honda CB900c ( 7 years), loved the two range transmission and air adjustable shocks...
I have an unheated garage, but with room to work. Even with a small electric heater my feet freeze. But it does take the edge off my hands and tools. Hopefully you can easily get at the battery. There is an ugly wind today. Good luck.
Edit: I guess we posted at
The same time.
I saw this video and thought about your work on the Wings. Good to watch the process and my question to you is about the rotting he had on the frame due to putting it up on the centre stand; Is this a GW thing or a general centre stand and heavy bikes issue?
Depends how far away you are, but I always find something interesting at the show. Just being surrounded by all things motorcycle in the dead of winter is soul food.
Finally got the oil and filter changed on the bike and the mower. I’m figured it was as warm as it was gonna get for some time. Ready for the winter nap.
Planning on more longer rides, try to keep the photo tag east and north of Milton. Go on a camping trip.
Going to the motorcycle show on Friday. I always pick up something I didn’t plan on. Love the vintage bikes and the custom bikes.
