I rode down 507 today, and for a few klms it has been all chewed up and covered in loose gravel,
with billowing dust that made it even more treacherous.

Ran both ways yesterday.
The gravels gone except for a little on the centreline here and there., and some scattered near the shoulders.
There are no painted lines, and the new surface is extremely coarse.

Deep Bay Rd (from #35 to Minden) has enough sand on it to start a new beach.
I assume they had too much left over at the DoH yard, so at the last threat of snow/freezing rain they dumped whatever was left all
over a minor road so they could get their full allotment for next year.

A friend and I are doing a 2 week ride from GTA to the Gaspe Penisula and on to the Cabot Trail.
