Doug has made insurance worse, again

The same way they do now when I borrow your Jag. If I own them both then my insurance assumes I'm only driving the most expensive one.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Squeeze was off to a craft fair so I took the opportunity to move my spare rear wheel and differential into the house to live under the stairs. Floor space in the garage is at a premium.

What did you do in your garage today..?

I took the Sawzall to a GoldWing front fairing. Very therapeutic. It now fits in my trash bin and will go out to the street on garbage day.

Doug has made insurance worse, again

This is the exact same plan Wynn used. "Want cheaper insurance? OK we'll just lower the standard"

    Good news thread

So I bought a near complete Wing and another motor as spare parts for mine (250$). Started to pull the motor from the bike and find it's full of water. I contacted the seller, told him what I found and asked if could etransfer me a little discount " whatever you think is fair". Instead of...

    Donating to charities

I NEVER donate money when asked at the check out. If crappy tire wants to make a donation in their name they can do it with their own money.

Thinking of trading my V-Strom 650XT for the new Himalayan 450 – need your thoughts!

Why so set on tubless. Years ago 4 of us rode the Trans Taiga on KLRs. One flat on the way home which we fixed at camp that night. Another fellow went up the Taiga with his friends on tubless BMWs and after denting rims two came home in a pickup.

    Public service announcement

Shovelled off the car, then the driveway and then installed the winter tires in the drive way. For the first time ever I did this job with a rattle gun. Oh My that's nice.

    November 11th

The average age for a bomber pilot in WW2 was early twenties. More than 40% didn't come home. I think the only group that fared worse were German uboat crews. And they lied about their age to get in! No effing way that at 20 I was ready to lead 5 or 6 of my peers to our possible death night...

I thought that filming himself with "moving pictures" was a pretty neat trick for that time period.
