    New speed signs

News is reporting they are 8 to 12' tall but I think that's on the post that will be sunk at least 4' into the ground.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I like the b r c r n b o brakes (what a waste of a chunk of aluminum). That power cable routing is the best I have ever seen. They balanced the wheel. I can't see that being necessary if it tops out at 32 km/h as stated. I don't know who's bidding on that turd. Are they not reading the ad...

Interesting that Oz FSD seems to be locked into the lowest aggression mode. US has two levels more aggression you can enable. I don't know what we get in Canada.

    Smart watches

That's a way better price than most of the established brands. Based on the price and battery life, I'm guessing it does not have GPS. That may be insignificant or a deal killer depending what the kids want to use it for.

    Any 2 stroke gurus??

Runs like a champ was slightly ambiguous as it may not have been above idle or belt may have been off. As it's a quick and easy test, I'd try using the brake in the air to load the motor while watching the clutches. You may be correct and it's an engine issue but if I can rule out a lot of other...

    Smart watches

I think an important question is how often are they willing to charge. If the kids are fine with daily charging, there are a lot of options with a ton of features. If the kids want to charge twice a week or less, the pool is much smaller. If you are using GPS for long, almost all will appreciate...

    New speed signs

I can't imagine that the signs are too big for camera posts. I suspect they are too big for typical speed limit/community safety zone posts.

    New speed signs

I suspect it's a loading issue. For signs larger than xx square inches, the post needs to be larger to deal with the extra wind load. Same thing happens with fence height. Cross a magic line and all posts need to be larger (and if you get really unlucky you have to switch from wood to steel)...

    Help shopping for skis

I buy a pass close to home. It's not the best hill but from deciding I want to go until sliding down the hill is less than 10 minutes. In the past I was shooting for 100 times per year (I never made it). With kids in so many weeknight activities now, 50 times a year is a more realistic goal for...

I am partial to garmin. I have had an instinct for years. It looks similar to a gshock and if you are not using GPS it can go more than a week between charges. Newer instincts can come with solar built in so charging may never be required. Instinct prices are way too high imo. When I got mine, a...

    New speed signs

We need to go back to the original speed limit enforcement. Cops would put a chain across the trail and pull it tight as a vehicle approached. If you stop before you hit the chain, you were going slow enough. If you hit the chain, you were guilty. Ultimately, that's a much better test than...

    Prostate cancer update....

Thanks. I didn't know pay yourself was an option. If doc says public path is declined, I'll buy the kit.

    New speed signs

If a politician at any level (and ideally all levels) focused on stopping the bleeding and spending millions/billions on stupid virtue signalling ideas we would all be better off as the tax burden would be much lower. They all focus on increasing revenue so they can waste more money. Most belong...

    Prostate cancer update....

I'm a few decades younger. According to my family doc, grandfather is not sufficient family history to qualify. They need mother or father (or maybe sibling?) with cancer to advance timelines. I am not worried about the camera. It's better to catch things early.

    Help shopping for skis

I bought Carv again. Kids and wife are taking a year off from skiing (they complain about cold). Hopefully, the hill builds moguls earlier this year and I can spend hours playing in them and improving. I suck at moguls. Carv ran the same black friday promotion this year with 20% off and "free"...

    Prostate cancer update....

My grandfather died of colon cancer. I am trying to get proactively screened (scope or poo on a stick) as I am getting older (and it will make my mom happy as my grandfather was a farmer and like most farmers, left things way too long and it wasn't discovered in time to intervene)...

She would still whine. "They are too small and not effective". That's all she knows how to do.

Wah wah wah, give us more money. She is the whiniest and least solution-oriented person on the planet. Mount them to a light post, power pole, etc. But no, give us more money is always her answer to everything.

Damn. I hadn't heard from you in a while and figured you were just out piling on the miles. Glad you here you are on the mend and thanks for the info about OBB.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Saskatchewan just passed a law to help counteract the libs gun grab. To seize a firearm in SK, you must pay the fair market value as determined by the SK Firearms Commissioner. I suspect the libs will argue they are not seizing anything. These are voluntary surrenders. As usual, the libs will...
