I meant south to and then along EM from Musselman's.

I usually ride with someone but did my first solo today. Rode north on Kennedy for a while, then west to 48 (Musselman's Lake), then south along Elgin Mills to enjoy the nice scenery. Quiet roads and nothin but the wind.

Good to hear you are all safe. I would think insurance companies consider flooding to be an "act of god" and not covered (depending on your company).

OP, I would suggest taking a trusted friend with you (not just someone random from the forums, as kind as all the users are on here) preferably someone with patience and who knows your learning style. Have you taken the M1 exit course? It's super helpful when it comes to basics. Buddy up and...

Hmm, so when you remove the pass.seat, does the helmet come off attached to the underside or the inside of the bike? (I have yet to take a closer look at my bike to see what it's like).

A little off topic but a question about locking your helmet to the trunk/seat... wouldn't it be difficult to retrieve the helmet afterwards if you have to unlock, hold key, remove seat without dropping the helmet?
