    2025 Newfoundland

The QC 389 between Baie Comeau and Manic Cinq was in great shape last year. Not too far north of Manic Cinq,? the 389 turns to gravel and stays that way until pretty close to Lab City. I checked out the gravel portion on street view and it didn’t look too difficult.

    Vacation season is upon us!

My sis lived in Klemtu for a while and they have a spirit bear lodge if that's something you would find interesting. Or highly boring... A ride out to Bella Coola and then taking the ferry south to Port Hardy has been on my wish list for a while as well - almost did it in 2020, but Bella Coola...

what r u paying for weed these days ?

It’s never too soon… Start of growing season depends if you are starting your seeds indoors to get them larger to move outdoors by Victoria Day long weekend, or are you starting them from seed much closer to that long weekend. If you can, germinate them indoors first in late March to early...

Thanks for that. I had a friend who used to teach at Dalhousie and so I stayed in Truro for a week, We explored some of the south, but never past Halifax - that looks pretty nice.

    2025 Newfoundland

Anyone here ever ridden to Newfoundland? I've never been before and this seems like a great way to spend 3 weeks in Aug/Sept instead of riding in the US. Asides from visiting Gros Morne and camping there, I know absolutely nothing about the Rock. Not sure if I'll do this trip clockwise or...

    The No-Tariff Motorcycle Gear Thread

Thanks very much for taking the time to make this list. I was about to buy the Dunlop Roadsmart 4 tires, but think I’ll pass and run the Michelin’s for another round.

Canada only 1 week big trip suggestions?

If things don't change by summer, I'll be riding the Trans Lab and over to the Rock, then back home around Cape Breton instead of the Pacific Coast Highway. This would be the 3rd time I've canceled a trip to the US and did a Canada ride instead. Always wanted to check out the Rock.

Canada only 1 week big trip suggestions?

No need to ride the shame sh!t again again - go ride the 138 to the end since you've wanted to do that. You can stretch the north shore to a week, if you stay off the 401/highways and take the northern backroads up through La Tuque and La Mauricie National Parc. On your way out to Kegaska, make...

    Chromeburner is bankrupt

For real. In a past life I used to ride this thing wearing a beanie helmet and tshirt with a smoke hanging out my mouth.

    Chromeburner is bankrupt

The last time I removed a helmet visor was over 5 years ago when I was still riding without internal sun visors. And that was just to change my tinted visor to a clear visor at night. In all my years of riding, I've never removed a visor to clean it. I just clean mine with spit or water from my...

    Chromeburner is bankrupt

To clean the visor I use a thin cloth and it works perfect. I never the take visor off - I just clean it with my hand inside the helmet. Totally agree about the big top vent catching bugs - that is a bit of a pain. I'm the same with modular's too - avoided them for the longest time, but now...

    Chromeburner is bankrupt

I currently have the GT Air 2, which I scored when they first came out for $600 brand new from a super deal. Previously had the GT Air and several Shoei's prior to that, so I do find that the Shoei's fit me really well. I've never removed the visor on my GT-Air before or felt a need to, since...

    Chromeburner is bankrupt

I’m thinking about getting a new Shoei lid - either a Neotec or GTAir, because I want the internal sun visor and Shoei fits me great. Is Chromeburner the best shop to buy from or one of the others? I’ve never bought anything online from a euro store before. Thanks!

Toronto Motorcycle and Powersports Show - Feb 14-16

I'll be going to this show and it will make a great Valentine's day gift from my wife to me:) Looking forward to seeing and sitting on the 2025 Tracer GT, 2025 Suzuki GSXS-1000GTX and some other sport touring bikes. Need a new lid for her and looking at a new one for me. I also didn't spend...
