Where are the Toronto Jays fans

Damn. I didn't think of that. Well, I take the kids out every year, and the wife hands out the candy. If I leave at 7pm, I can be home by 7:30-7:45. Plenty of time. The wife can handle the door as usual. You made me panic for a moment there. BUT, if they lose and have to play Saturday, that's an...

    Degreaser Recommendation

I've found that starting with a pressure wash, getting 90% of the gunk off first, really helps. I make sure the bike is warm first, and run it for a while after, so the water evaporates before it can leak into wire connections and cause issues.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Yes, I do! But I'm late. It's sold. It's only a 600 anyway, but it would have been a fun project, and sold for a profit. I think I'll be selling my 2001 in the spring, and keep my 2003. I need room for a new toy that I'll be happier driving in the rain. Looking to trade for a Fiero.

    Where to get a puppy?

I agree with Cranky Also, being a mutt, it's less prone to genetic issues. My Boxer lived 13 years, but the breed has an average lifespan of 8-10 years because of genetics. My mixed breed that came from my boxer's brother lived 15 years. Look at Great Danes, they are one of the best breeds for...

    Where to get a puppy?

When I ready that ad, it said "40-50 lbs". I prefer a large dog, so I'm hoping for 50+ lbs. You are on the other side hoping for 40- lbs. lol What is her concern, weigh, or height? Poodles are usually lean dogs under all that hair.

    Where to get a puppy?

It looks like they have one left! https://www.kijiji.ca/v-dogs-puppies/london/aussiedoode-puppies/1726341290 This is who I got the pup from. Near Blyth, Ontario. It was a 2 hour drive for me. What I like about this dog is that it's not a "breed" it's a mixed breed. By that I mean, no...

    Where to get a puppy?

My last dog passed 5-6 years ago, and although I've really missed having a dog around, I found a dogs life is too short, and the end-of-life too painful, to want to go through it again. I have a 6 year old daughter and a 10 year old son. My wife came to me a couple weeks ago and asked if we...

What's the weakest link in stopping you from riding longer?

Well, I may have to give them a chance. Thanks.

What's the weakest link in stopping you from riding longer?

I have not, but although they look like they would address the issue, they also look like they'd go flat very quickly. If they were cheap I'd try them, but that kind of foam doesn't last long.

What's the weakest link in stopping you from riding longer?

Lightcycle, I used to get sore wrists and hands, similar to the start of carpal tunnel, and still do at times. I have large hands, and gripping the handles feels like gripping a pencil sometimes. That was the cause for me. I stretched a silicone grip over the existing one, and that helped quite...

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

Many of these e-bike riders have lost there license for DUI. Now, as you say, no license, no insurance, and the right to a full lane. I remember mopeds being banned back in the late 80s, or maybe early 90s, for being a nuisance to traffic. Now it's encouraged. Thanks to the climate zealots for this.

What's your most neglected maintenance item on your motorcycle?

I always forget to change the coolant on my Katana. It's a good thing it's air cooled.

Pretty sure those are "actors". I don't think those are real. But I see a lot of "street interviews" on YouTube that make your point.

    Hockey players acquitted

As an aside, I find it sickening when people want the government to punish others for behaviour that may go against their personal morals but doesn't break any laws. Read 1984 by George Orwell. You are taking the next steps to make that happen. Point. 1: I think it's wrong to drive 45–50 km/h...

    What are you reading?

Listening to book 2 of The Gray Man Series. If you like Jack Carr, I'd recommend this. I see it's been made into a Netflix series, or movie.

    Trailer question

"The Toyota Matrix has a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 pounds (680 kg) when equipped with the 2.4-liter engine." "The maximum tongue weight for a Toyota Matrix, when equipped with a Class I or II trailer hitch, is 250 lbs. The maximum gross trailer weight is typically 2,500 lbs." "Here's...

    Trailer question

I currently have a 4x8 trailer that holds a 4x8 sheet with about 1/8" to spare on all sides, which is really nice, but the axle is to light for the occasional gravel or triple-mix load (which flattens my springs and leave the trailer bed sitting directly on the axles). I've been collecting...

    Trailer question

The axle being close to the back of the trailer allows the weight to be more easily placed forward of the axle. This is safer to pull because if more weight is place behind the axle than in front, it will cause the trailer to fishtail. The higher the ratio of weight rear of the axle, the worse...
