Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Of the 30 odd vehicles, cars, bikes, trucks, I have owned, I never thought about their resale value, only what I needed/wanted. But that being said, one bike was sold to my brother, one car sold cert. to someone, one car sold for the motor & tranny to be transplanted, the rest car went scrap...

    Getting old sucks...

Reading this I see most complain about aches & pains of 'maturing'. Turned 70 last birthday, body, eye sight are all fine, no aches or pain, still no need for glasses. No need for or have had any surgeries. What I find the hardest, & yes this may sound shallow, but I always felt that I was...

    Fz6 owners - opinion wanted

I had a 09. Loved it. 98 hp as compared to 78 hp for the FZ6R. Two very different bikes.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Slightly different. Guy buys a water logged Tesla. Tesla won't sell him the parts for repair so he goes ICE. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/the-story-of-ice-t-the-worlds-first-tesla-with-a-chevy-v8-under-the-hood-174774.html

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

"Barrie police confirmed no injuries were reported and charges wouldn't be laid as the incident occurred on private property." Really? And yet we 'general public' dweebs can get charged on private property with a HTA 172 charge. Yup, that seems fair.

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

As of May 18, 2024, the average hourly pay for a Parking Enforcement in Ontario is $17.69 an hour. ^^Little more digging.^^ $17.69 is the Ontario average. You have some small towns that Parking Enforcement is part time gig. 10 - 20 hours a week. I defiantly think @Mad Mike has the true cost for...

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Disclaimer, I may have to do more research as I may be a little drunk, but.... Met up with an old buddy who is a parking enforcement officer. He was telling me that they get a yearly list of who wrote how many tickets. He himself wrote out just over $1m while the top guy wrote $3.2m. If true...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Cop I knew back in the day use to set speed trap on Huntingwood, north Scarborough. Speed limit 50. His partner would set up just down the street. If someone caught a second time, second cop would hand the ticket with a 'didn't learn the first time did ya?' And a warning that maybe more cops...

    Grocery store boycott

I found out by accident that I can save $35 - $50 a month by going to Food Basic. Metro use to be my go to, 3 minutes away, but when they went on strike, the next closest was FB. Been going there ever since. Haven't been to a Roblaws or any of their other stores for maybe 20 years.

    4 day work week?

Back in the 70's when working for a large retail, instead of a raise, we went from a 40 hour week to a 37.5 hour week. So 7.5 hour day instead of 8. Really made no difference, the company still went under.

What's the dumbest question someone has ever asked you about your motorcycle?

Short-shifting, if that matters, my Suzuki in heavy stop-and-go traffic. Next light, "Hey, is that an automatic?"
