$30 ones off amazon, work well, way above expectations. They actually have a separate "Hi-Beam" mode but it's not really a true hi-beam, just an increased power level. I aimed them down so as to not blind incoming traffic. I never ride at night unless something unexpected comes up; they were...
Nope, check out the video. The front LED strips are switchbacks, they have built in sequential turn signals. They are clearly visible in broad daylight and about a foot long each. I'd say visibility of the bike overall has increased greatly vs what I had before. Granted, it's probably not quite...
I have an integrated turn light, works really, really well. Took me a while to find one that was actually clearly visible in broad daylight. The tail light illuminates the plate nicely. Strips and lamps are about $30 for each pair and they are well above my expectations.
Got a little sick and tired of swapping fairings for each track day, so decided to make the track fairings street legal. Now, all I have to do for track prep is swap the rear wheel, swap tail fairings and remove the underside LED lamps.
Also wanted to dick around with new gimbal; put a little...
Hey George,
This ride is a medium/fast paced ride so I would say no, it is not really newbie friendly. I would recommend keeping an eye out for Medium or Cruise paced rides. That being said, we always wait for people at turns/stops so if you want to tag along, you are more than welcome too...

She's riding up and down her street for a quick video for CTV, I think it's more than ok attire. Hopefully that's not how she rides most of the time but eh, it's a personal choice. She claims to come from a motorcycling family so I'd say it's reasonable to assume she knows the risks involved...
Why do you want a 600 SS? Is it because you like how they look/sound? Or just that it's a SS? If that's the reason, then go for it; there's no shame in that! Just realize that a 600 SS a pretty terrible street bike in most aspects; the video on the first page illustrates perfectly why. A...
Bummer, I ordered some Yamaha original fork seals from tri city; took a few days to get in and I was quite happy. What is really bizarre is that if you buy them as 4 separate pieces (2 dust seals & 2 oil seals) it's just over 90$. However, if you buy the "kit" (those 4 part numbers boxed...
Funny enough, our street group also hosted a ride out to Conestoga this evening, we were probably there around 7 or so. Fun little cruise on dad's bike while mine is under the knife!
Went to spectate at TMP today, was good fun and crazy to see their jet drag car.
Super impressed with this sub $400 center stand, got a bit of work to do before the 3rd! Top of the list is suspension rebuild up front, clean/check all bearings/seals/bushings, clean brake rotors and full flush...
