I envy how clear your pond is

A little heavy handed with sunflower seeds this year….only cause the bunnies kept eating them the last couple years…… ….will need to thin them out at some point

@jc100 How did your lotus plant do last year? Did you try to overwinter it indoors? I got some of the lotus seeds from the $1 seed store this year and started sprouting them yesterday.

Yeah, lotus plants are quite expensive and I wasn’t sure if our growing season was long enough for it to flower, but wouldn’t mind trying out those $1 seeds and see where I end up. I love sensitive plants, never knew they had a floating variety until I started doing research for my water...

I would love to know how your lotus plant does, keep us posted :) Just started a patio pond this year with a water lily and some other marginal plants. Would be neat to have a lotus in another container pot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
