Update, I installed the Electrical Connection conversion kit this week.
Makes a huge difference in visibility at night. Total install time was about 2 hours as I had to work out the routing of the additional wiring.
Toughest part was feeding it through my existing signal stocks.
You get a sealed envelope from the course which you take to MTO on the 61st day.
Double check when you get to the MTO tho because if they break the seal on the envelope before the 61st day the form becomes void.
They'll stress that in the class as well.

I myself am no stranger to knee pain either. Have chronically dislocated patella in both knees and further surgery is not an option.
For me, the position while riding isn't the problem, it's being in the SAME Position for long periods of time that becomes painful.
