Helibars - drastic change in cornering ability?

Beautiful bike! Looks so strange with the high clip ons lol. Good to know it still handles quiet well though, I look forward to adding the Helibar for some of these longer rides this summer.

Helibars - drastic change in cornering ability?

Yea I've read its pretty popular - however most of the information gathered is about comfortability only and not much on the cornering aspect. Im obviously not going to be tracking it, but as long as it's still comfortable enough to lean it right over then I'll be happy with the mod. Thanks for...

Helibars - drastic change in cornering ability?

Getting a little older, and thinking of changing the aggressive stance on my Hayabusa to something a little more neutral. So im looking to add a Helibar to raise bars to a more comfortable level. Just wondering if anyone has done this mod with Helibars, Genmar, Woodcraft etc. and how it affects...

    Potential hot weather road hazards

Ive seen a number of tracks with some horrible tar snakes on them as well. I don't understand how more riders don't go down because of them.

    Szoke out for the season?

Completely agree, hence why racing in Canada is such a waste of time if you're looking to make a career. You need to have the time, resources, and skill at a young age to get anywhere for starters. Then if you are successful in Canada you travel to the States and need to place within the top 3...

    Szoke out for the season?

Kawasaki from what I understood sponsored him. Hence they pay for bike expenses, fees, travel, clothing etc. This does not include insurance; he doesn't work for Kawasaki so they have absolutely no obligation to him aside from provide an image. Racing companies in Canada are just terrible...

    New Newbie here.

The way the whole M1 situation works now with insurance is that they basically make taking the M2 training course a requirement. That way you get the necessary skills, training, and familiarity with a few different bikes. It's not a bad thing, and it should be re-written to include it so new...

    2022 insurance

Figured the H2SX would be very nice, I've been eyeing it personally. In what way did you find it underwhelming?

Sport Bike Insurance -- Who are you insured with? How much do you pay?

Got to love insurance companies, I feel like I get ****** every year. So I switched to All-State cause the deal was pretty good. Signed the contract for the monthly payments, paid my first month no issues. Now All-State called saying they have a new policy stating you need to pay your whole...

Selling my bike. Buyer test ride

I'd never 2 up unless I knew the rider or passenger well enough, but cash in hand is the way to go. If they are serious in buying it they should have the money easily as buying a motorcycle shouldn't be breaking the bank and it shows they are serious.

Sport Bike Insurance -- Who are you insured with? How much do you pay?

I would think so. I gave them the VIN number. Reiterated this is a 1300cc motorcycle to which they understand 100%. They read the specs of the bike back to me as if "I" didn't know what the bike was. They also tried to get me to pay for the 3 weeks it was insured with them, when I didn't even...

Sport Bike Insurance -- Who are you insured with? How much do you pay?

Same thing happened to me, Wawanesa as well last year. Bought a 2010 Hayabusa, gave them the VIN and everything. They gave me a rate of $890 a year. I double checked with them that you know this bike, cause that's a great rate but it seems too good to be true. They reassured me it's all good and...

How much do you pay for insurance?

If you're shopping around for insurance this year I'd give All-State a call. I was paying 3K a year with Desjardins insurance for a 2010 Hayabusa with an "at fault" accident 9 years ago. It's 10 years and off my record now, and they were willing to shave off $120 a year. I called All-State who...

    Indian

Always been a sportbike lover, but if I was going to hang up the racing boots for a cruiser type I'd get an Indian. The Indian Scout Bobber looks beautiful, and I've only heard good things about it. https://www.indianmotorcycle.com/en-ca/scout-bobber-sixty/

    Hyundai Motor Recall Again

My first car was a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon. Ran pretty good until the clutch went and dumped oil all over the road. Took it in and got it fixed. The mechanic said that was the most ****** up clutch he's ever worked on. Said it was completely backwards on a car and the only one he saw that was...

Used Accelerated Tech as well for my CBR600rr. Mike did some good work and the price was good. From what I understand he use to work for a Yamaha race team.

Filling up while sitting on the bike

Funny you say that because this happend to me at a Canadian tire about a month ago. I was halfway through filling it up when it just cut out and she tells me I need I need to dismount to continue filling it. Uh...I prepaid so I'm not running off when I'm done you moron.
