I did that on my phone as I was using that as navigation. My wife however, paid the $12 per day for one day on her Telus connection to use her local plan in the US.
I did my first trip (in car with family) to Cleveland a couple of weeks ago. Even though we took the interstate, I wass floored by the quality of road infrastructure.
Hence, this time I want to explore on 2 wheels.
Sightseeing- Always! These are noted.
Ah! You’re a gem @shanekingsley ! Thank you for the itinerary and encyclopedia of routes in the US.
Bookmarked, just like I did with your Ontario guide.
I will look at the 2 day route in detail and get back if I need more information.
Thanks guys! The route seems interesting.
Friday is working day for me. Not sure if it makes any difference if I leave at 6pm on Friday vs 5am on Saturday.
Also, where do you suggest a night halt?
Hello folks!
Looking to head out on my first ride of the season this weekend (or next). I want to ride down south. Can you kindly recommend a 2 day itinerary (Early morning Sat to evening Sun) from the GTA to Pennsylvania/NY/anywhere else? Good twisty roads, mountains if possible, about 1.2...
I changed my helmet speakers to these last year - Best Motorcycle Helmet Speakers | Cardo Helmet Speakers | Best Helmet Speakers | Snowboard Speakers
They fit well with the K3SV; not so well in the K6. So I moved them back to the K3 and will buy a comm set for the K6
Hey @voyageur - No, I did not go a size up. I measured my head circumference and ordered the corresponding size. It fits tight - not too tight. Will loosen eventually.
It is meant to be a bit tight initially. But if you are getting a headache, then you are a size too small.
Went for about a 250km spin: Burligton - NOTL - The falls - Fort Erie - Port Colborne - Welland - Smithville - Grimsby and back
Empty roads, cloudy sky, no rain, constant temp at 3 degrees - I had a surprisingly good time!
Reading the comments here, I thought I should bring this up - I am planning a short ride tomorrow around the Niagara region. I haven't ridden on roads layered with brine before. Are there any precautions I should take pre/post the ride? Thanks
Welcome to the forums, @hymnz ! Riding cross-country on a scooter, in India, takes courage. I had a friend who did Khardungla on a Bajaj Chetak 3 times.
