    Ready to ride

I found Co-operators to be substantially low compared to others. I got quoted 195 by Desjardins and TD and 115 by co-op .. dropped to 86 once I moved away from North York to Mississauga and now at 71 after one full year.

Did they legalize lane-splitting/filtering or is it 'do as I say...'?

Question though. When I'm the first one in the right most lane at the light I keep myself at the left and front as much as possible so the car turning right has enough gap to take the turn. Is this allowed or do I have a chance of getting ticketed of a cop hovers by? I only do this if the...

    Friendly Reminder to Wear ATGATT

Finally back on the streets. Feels good. Still limping when I walk but as I said in my first post, I’m an idiot.

    Friendly Reminder to Wear ATGATT

Short update: Went to the fracture clinic today and the doc said I have an avulsion fracture on my 5th metatarsal (the first joint of the pinky finger from the ankle). The ligament just dislodged from the joint and chipped a bone fragment. At least one more week of no walking. Picture for...

    Friendly Reminder to Wear ATGATT

Hey.. Get well soon.. I remember my second night after the fall. The pain was everywhere- woke up every 15 minutes as some part suddenly throbbed. We fall, we get up, we learn, we ride.

    Friendly Reminder to Wear ATGATT

I had a lapse of judgment and went out with sneakers. My right foot slipped while pulling the bike out of a parking spot and my right ankle got pinned under the bike. The jacket and the helmet also took quite a hit from the fall. Adrenaline got me up and ride back home, but after relaxing for a...

    Etiquette

I've made it my duty that if I'm behind a crash regardless of the vehicle I'll stop to block the vehicle and if possible start waving my emergency red cloth to alert on coming vehicles (used to do it in India, but in not sure about the laws or how people would perceive it here.) I've had an...

    My trip across 403, 401, 427, Gardiner and Queen's.

Just so that everyone knows, this is my joy ride region. I take the bike out on some Sunday mornings and simply roam around in this area. Find a local place to have brunch and head back and cool off with a nice wheat beer. I am a sane person most of the times. 😊

    My trip across 403, 401, 427, Gardiner and Queen's.

40-50 minutes every day for about a year (minus the winter season and heavy rain days) .. to and from work .. you become numb to it after a certain time 😐

    My trip across 403, 401, 427, Gardiner and Queen's.

It is primarily for better navigation sense. I have to go to a new place which takes me through Mississauga or the Peel Region, using a navigator or the road signs is a PIA. High-speed roads with poorly placed roadsigns make me miss a turn or two almost always. Plus if I'm doing a 70-80 on the...

    My trip across 403, 401, 427, Gardiner and Queen's.

Ok. Ok. I think I might have used clearing my head in the wrong sense. It's like this. If I'm having a ****** day at work, I just can't stop the chain of thought about it. Putting myself in a situation where I can't think of anything else than the job at hand is the only way. So yes, a ride...
