What is your Budget for a Bargain Find?

It's ALIVE. Thanks to the Millgrove Magician (if you know, you know), the little CB1 fired up today, after sitting since 2014. So glad. Fork seals & tires later this week & safety asap after that. Gettin' itchy.

What is your Budget for a Bargain Find?

There was about 2L of leftover gas that I removed today, and the petcock was bone dry, and operational. Tomorrow.....the gas tank gets a soapy bath, rinse and an isopropyl rinse.

What is your Budget for a Bargain Find?

Indeed. Hopefully this week. This is some of the 9yr old gas/tea/varnish. Particle free though, and I can't see a spec of rust inside the tank.

What is your Budget for a Bargain Find?

It's showing 50,400kms. I don't think it's been painted? It's the darker blue, not the powder blue. If it gets painted, I think it's going to be the dark gray that a few came with. I thought the tail plastics were mint........I was wrong.....lol.

What is your Budget for a Bargain Find?

I think it's got good potential, if it runs.....and by the way it cranked, I'm not too concerned. Carbs need doing, as does gas tank, but there's zero signs of rust in it, hint of varnish odour, but not nearly as noticeable as I was expecting. The fender has a crack, sadly, but the seat cowl...
