Hello and annoying newbie questions :-)

Agreed. Great machine to learn on. Both for riding and maintenance.

going to CUBA- your input required asap--Havana or Varadero

+ 1 OP - We got back about a month ago. Some of the warmest water my wife and I have ever swam in. Had to swim around to find cool spots. No joke. Varadero is quieter and safe (someone mentioned above the locals can't pass certain "check-points" unless they work on a resort). We ended up...

    Helmets for Round Heads

I have a round head shape and just bought a Shoei Qwest as a replacement for my 6 year old HJC IS16. The Shoei fits extremely well compared to my old HJC on my round head. Shoei doesn't normally make helmets for round heads with the exception of the Qwest.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

To the DB on a black ninja 250 riding pilion behind me and my pilion up Mississauga Rd into Belfountain revving the $h*t out of it with your fart can pipe in first gear in a crawl to the stop sign. Dude; you're the reason the residents there don't like us. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk

Custom Seat Upholstery in the Westend?

Great quality work from this shop. I got the tip from Cycling just over 2 years ago for the seat on my Ninja 500R. Best money I ever spent for comfort. The best part about these guys, is that before they put on the seat cover, you can take the seat and try it out for a couple of days for test...

    FF versus 3/4 Helmets

My wife is a dental hygienist and has seen her share of patients with terrible facial injuries including broken and missing teeth due to rocks and debris hitting the face while wearing open face helmets. It's all about how much risk you're willing to accept and personal choice.

    The Personal Insurance Company

Been them since I got motorcycle license. No problems either. When I had my Ninja, my insurance got cheaper every year.

Where to buy a chain alignment tool?

I have one of those tools to align the chain and not longer use it. All it does is align sprocket-to-sprocket. What you want is to align the wheels to each other. Try the "string thing". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBxK-OQ--fg The swing arm marks for example of my bike, can not be trusted.

Critters on the road..pics or stories

To add onto Homme's post........ I was there riding sweeper. Let me tell you......it was very surreal to see nothing but taillights shining in perfect staggered formation one second, then the next seeing tail lights all over the place, so to speak. It was pitch dark and then all of a...

    My first winter

I don't drain the carb bowls till spring before my first start up. Reason being you don't want the diaphragms to dry out. I of course add stabilizer and run the bike with the petcock off till the bike stalls much like everyone else does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
