How do I know if the cop is present in court....?

This was not the case two weeks ago in Mississauga. Approx. 50% of the police did not show up, so charges were withdrawn...including mine.:p

    Suzuki vstrom DL1000: YEAR/AGE important?

I have a 2005 with 65000kms on it now and it runs great. Took it to James Bay this year without any problems. As Oomis said there are a couple of known problem, but the fixes are readily available. I have a bit of chudder, but it is outside the RPM range I ride so it is not an issue for me. I am...

    engine oil conditioner?! additives?!

If you use a good quality oil at regularly change intervals, for your bike then there is no need for extra additives. Don't waste your money. Mike

    Fedex, ups, purolator?

Personally I find the brokerage fees ridiculous with UPS for packages from the US. Use USPS and save yourself some money, if you are not in a huge rush. Puro is good inside Canada. Never tried Cardinal...maybe next time.

    To FZ6 Owners

I have an 06 and really like it. The bike has lots of power, handles well and as a sport tourer the insurance is much cheaper than an SS. If you want to do touring then be prepared to get a custom seat. Mine was from Top Saddlery and it made a huge difference over stock.

    Buying/shipping parts from Europe

Last year I bought a manometer to synchro' throttle bodies from the UK and I think the freight was about 10-12 dollars and took three weeks to be to Canada. Small packet that only weighed a couple of pounds, but still not bad.

    Handgun opinions

D23 I think if you look into it you will find that FRPC is your home club, the one that applies for the ATT on your behalf, and you are a member in good standing. However your ATT allows you to go any approved range in Ontario. They are all the same with the exception of the Instructor ATT...

    Handgun opinions

In the same price range as the ones you listed is the CZ Shadow, you should try that one out. Really nice out of the box and with a couple spring changes it becomes even better. Plus you have a great competition gun if you are thinking about that in the future.

    Pulsating brake light

Yes I was told they were illegal, however talking to a couple of cops. they told me they would not ticket someone making a motorcycle more visible. I guess if you were doing something stupid they may tack on that charge, but just riding around is not likely to be a problem. I have used them...

ok, which brand of kevlar jeans offers the best protection

You can buy Draggin jeans on line for about $100 and I think the shipping was 15.00 to Canada USPS. Far cheaper than buying here. Have not had an opportunity to test them, but I believe STARSHIP's analysis is correct. Good abrasion protection only so I wear Forcefield knee pads under them for...

Matagami to Radisson - The James Bay Road in June

Actually I think the road is paved all the way to Radisson, the only real gravel you have to contend with is the road from Chisasibi to the waters of James Bay. It is about 12 kms each way.
