Which gun should be banned next?

Just saw this quote today - seems appropriate. "In the debate over guns, both sides are angry. The pro-gunners are angry at the ignorance, lies, and distortions of the anti-gunners and the anti-gunners are angry with the pro-gunners for presenting facts."...

    Guys, stop speeding.

Not to sound like a dick, but I Googled New Zealands speed limits and found this. "Speed limits in New Zealand range up to and including 100 km/h. The most commonly seen are: 100 km/h, the current open road limit, is used in rural areas and on motorways, expressways and highways, as well...

My mistake. I thought they had English accents.

    Guys, stop speeding.

The speed limit on a "single carriageway" (one lane each direction) in England is 60 mph (97 kph). It's half that, in a built up area, which it clearly isn't in the video. The dude in the sedan is doing a touch under 108 kph (67 mph). He would have to be doing a whole bunch less than 7 mph over...

    Hayabusa Question?

Ya' - really, eh ? Who needs directional control during a panic stop ! Who cares if your gyroscopes stop spinning at 80 kph and your scooter slides out from underneath you - you're wearing leathers - you can probably slide safely, for a little while.

    Over tightening an oil filter?

I f you tighten the oil filter beyond the 1/2 to 3/4 turn, after the gasket contacts the engine block, you risk distorting the gasket and having it leak. Plus, as was mentioned - it'll be a PIA to remove.

Do you listen to music while riding?

Me, also - maybe it's an "older guy" thing.

using low viscosity rated oil in summer (ie: 5w-40 instead of 10w-40)

Is that a fact ? - So, in 20 years that I've been reading up on this subject, I've gotten it all wrong ? Perhaps, you would care to elucidate - maybe point out a few things, that would show your superior knowledge, on this subject ? ? Particularly, the "funny" bits. Pretty please - I'm really...

using low viscosity rated oil in summer (ie: 5w-40 instead of 10w-40)

Your first number, 5W, 10W, 15W - - - or 0W, is the SAE rated viscosity at the freezing temperature of water - 32 F, or 0C. Even a 0W-30 oil is much thicker at 21C (for example) than a 20W50 is, at operating temps. Any concerns you might have, about a 5W, or 0W being too thin at "start-up" are...

New Shooter - What Rifle to buy

2 identical rifles might be considered "overkill" - one of each ? - no way ! See D23's comment - and I bet he has 2 or 3, on his radar, that he doesn't have. Most guns aren't considered an "investment", unless you start collecting rare and expensive ones, but if you get a good one and look after...

    central air prices?

I follow your logic, but it has been my experience, that the more/better circulation you have, from top to bottom, the more even the temperatures are, between floors.

New Shooter - What Rifle to buy

Had a couple of Mossbergs - decent rifles - nothing to go out of your way for, though. Also have a couple of 10/22's and I would take them over any semi-auto in their price range. They will feed any brand of Long Rifle ammo - dead reliable - really easy to take down, to clean and because of...

    central air prices?

My A/C unit is 20 years old and still works fine - or, at least, as well as it ever did. The problem (mine too) with getting the second floor to be as cool as the main floor, has to do with the issue of duct sizing. The rooms furthest from the furnace, should have the largest duct sizes, to...

Have you ever had your pubic hair shaved

No - it's always more fun when done by a "motivated" amateur. Inreb - personally, I think you lucked out - at least it was done by someone who has had some experience with fragistrams - rather than some guy who is a bit squeamish about your package. see - RMEMEDIC
