I have the same one. Holds fine but rotates. Total crap. I've don't have a permanent solution yet myself, but I haven't had much time to tinker with it. It should have been designed with a locking mechanism.

look at laptop locks with an alarm. they are annoyingly loud and would definitely get attention if they are messed with, the wire should be long enough to run through a helmet and jacket. only thing is that they are not water proof. just don't leave your helmet on your bike near club district...
