Yes correct. For example, if your former employer gives you a good reference and you get the job with the new company and you do not perform well for any reason, they might look back ands sue your former employer for misrepresentation so they don't give good or bad references because of that...

I am pretty sure it is just a company policy. All HR can really do is varify your job title, start and finish of employment and that's about it. I highly doubt they could take about your job performance either due to liability reasons. Which also means they can't give you a negative review...

Helly all. So I am currenly with State Farm and I am selling my bike soon. My insurance started during the last week of July so whats going to happen my policy after my bike is sold? Do I have to pay for the cancelation of my policy or a fine? And what will happen if I buy a new bike next season?
