I did this transition about a month ago, but I ride an L1 gsx-r 600 (2011) now. The lower power mode on it is still no joke compared to the ninja 250r, practicing precise throttle control is definitely a must for these 600s since on the 250 you could go WOT and barely move lol.
Thanks for the heads up, I've read about quality issues with the hotbodies as well; I can't seem to find Gregg's custom led flushmounts for a 2011+ gsx-r though.
I should probably wait till they come out, any suggestions on a bar end mirror?
Someone stole my cap and left all kinds of marks/gouges in the area so i put the tape on to hide it for now lol--I'm thinking about getting the hotbodies mirror delete and maybe a bar end mirror!
edit: thinking about what you said about it being a common problem, this makes me sad to think that...
