Yes, I am covered for the street. I made sure of this before I bought the bike, and once again when I got the insurance. I've looked at my policy, and no where does it mention, dirt, off road, or anything of the nature. I'm covered.

I got mine blue plated this year without issues. You just check the "on road" box on the NVIS form when you bring it in to the MTO. voila, blue plates. I'm not sure on the exact legalities of it, I added the signals, horn, high beam, brake light switches, ect.. No inspection was required, and...

If it has been green plated before, then no, you can not convert. If you buy brand new however, all it takes is a checkmark on the NVIS form in the "on road, plates req." box. I blue plated my '12 WR450F this summer without a hitch.
