Dedicated left turn lane: left or right tire track? Question really is, does a dedicated left turn lane function as it's own single lane (left tire track)? or is it an additional lane in traffic, so blocking position is necessary (right track)?

Idiot backed into my bike on Saturday right in front of my house. Came home to find it propped up on 2x4's. Kickstand snapped, alignment way out, front brake rubbing (disk warped maybe?), scuffs on plastics, etc. No riding this weekend or for the foreseeable future.

I find that switching riding position between upright and a full tuck helps a lot, and standing up a few seconds at a time to get the blood flowing works well too.

No! Commute 120+ kms round trip daily in most weather. I don't really go out just to ride anymore , but I have no problem going 20km to pick up milk even though there's a supermarket and 2 convenience stores within 2 blocks of my house.
