If you don't pick the cheapest options, Amazon could be the right place for mirrors. I've got mine for $60 from Amazon.ca and I have zero complaints ... drama free performance and great sturdiness.

I can't agree more on Versys and Vstrom, that style is not everyone's cup of tea but I heard they're comfortable as hell on those longer trips.

I can share my opinion on FZ07 and FZ09. I rode both bikes and for me 07 is way more comfortable, I'm 5'10 and around 180lb. Can you be more specific and let me know what you consider a longer ride? If I need to spend a half or a whole day in the saddle I wouldn't pick any bike on your list...

That sucks man ... I know the feeling very well, my bike was stolen back in April. File a report with police and notify your insurance company ... unfortunately that's all you can do. I hope you have a full coverage so you can recoup some of your losses. I hope things turn different for you...

Last year I bought 2 helmets from Fort9. The keeper was a perfect fit, the other one not so much ... I returned it without any drama.
