dude dont cancel ur insurance i made that mistake and now well. i aint riding lol. went from 1200 to 2700/yr (full cvg Im 23 this year ) :P and we have 4 cars plus house with them.

hey look into MOTOSLIDERS for the sv650, they replace those mounts you busted up. so it doubles as a frame slider and holds the fairing in place. no cuts required. and look good too :)
thats pretty good price not gonna lie. often valve check/shimming costs up 500 i think? depends on dealer. id be willing to help you out as i have done it on my sv and even have shims if needed ( of course if you want to learn etc). at most doing it yourself would cost shim kit ($100) plus 3+...
