dude dont cancel ur insurance i made that mistake and now well. i aint riding lol. went from 1200 to 2700/yr (full cvg Im 23 this year ) :P and we have 4 cars plus house with them. (i have an sv650)

they can sue you for injuries fyi...

hey look into MOTOSLIDERS for the sv650, they replace those mounts you busted up. so it doubles as a frame slider and holds the fairing in place. no cuts required. and look good too :)

thats pretty good price not gonna lie. often valve check/shimming costs up 500 i think? depends on dealer. id be willing to help you out as i have done it on my sv and even have shims if needed ( of course if you want to learn etc). at most doing it yourself would cost shim kit ($100) plus 3+...

ya more then doubled for me so i cant swap my insurance from my car to the bike. just gotta get a job now.
