I got out for a quick ride yesterday....wasn't bad at all.
Unfortunately, I think that may be it until spring. I filled up and added stabilizer on my way home.
Took my new ride out today on her maiden voyage. Managed to get in 140k. A little cool, but it was nice to get out.
Loving the bike! It's going to be a LONG winter.
Thanks for all of your responses.
I pulled the trigger this morning and called Brantford Motorcycles, gave them a credit card number for a deposit and then went down and picked it up this afternoon.
I'll give a thumbs up to Brantford Motorcycles. We negotiated a trade-in value for my old bike...
I really don't ride that hard. I'm an older guy, and I've really attached to my license...I'd hate to lose it.
To be honest, I've never really felt a lack of performance from my GSX650F. I'd just like to try something different.
Nice looking bike BTW. The exhaust is a huge improvement over the...
Thanks for the replies. I prefer the fz8 to the fz1 because of its nakedness. I'm also extremely attracted to the deals on the leftover 2012s.

Good ride fellas, especially when you consider it's November.
I just had a hot bath. my darling wife has a prime rib in the oven... life is good!
Have a good winter guys, and we'll see you in the spring.

The problem I see with unsafe trailers is a complete lack of maintenance. There are people that have a 25 year old trailer that they...
I'm a millwright. (25+ yrs) If I had a do-over, I'd get into HVAC.
As long as people live in Canada, they're going to need heating and air conditioning.
The Esso station sounds like a good meet up spot.
I'm going to have to wait until the morning to check the weather before I commit.
I'll post here in the morning if I'm going.
