Good to hear. They won't touch sport bikes but the B-King and a couple other high hp bikes are ok. The bking is only sightly more, as it gets bumped into the over 1000cc bracket, same as the zrx...

The Personal should insure the FZ-09 dirt cheap. I have my FZ1 with them and will probably switch to the -09 this season.

2nd gen fz1. Cheap to buy and insure ($500/year for me). Sort the suspension and flash it and you have a 150whp all day comfort machine.

CR just dropped the price on their Monarch to $60 from $75 I believe - it's a pretty damn good rye. I agree the Harvest is overrated and prefer the CC 100% rye at that price point, which is mainly used for Manhattan duty.

I'd like to know. Strongly thinking about switching from my FZ1 next season. I know I will loose some top end pull but they seem like a blast!

Re: Hated socks recommendations? I have a lot of Merino wool socks and wear them everyday but even my thicker ones don't cut it when it's around freezing. If I get warmer boots and the Merino socks I think I would be fine.

Re: Hated socks recommendations? Man, I could of used something for my feet on my 80km commute this morning. I saw some insoles at Mark's as well the other day ,but I think they were $160ish. I have touring style Daytona boots with no insulation so in my case a warmer boot will help a lot...

Nah, it would take me over 4 years in insurance premiums to pay for the value for my Gen1. I'll be selling it cheap in the spring to get a Gen 2, unless I get distracted by a Tuono - which is likely.

Great bikes, but likely quite a bit above budget of a "smoking deal F4i". You can get a nice 1st gen FZ1 for 2-2.5K and a 2nd Gen for 4-5K.

FZ1, Tuono,B-King. Those should all let you pass cars with ease.

Forks have racetech .95 springs and gold valves. - rebuilt a couple seasons ago by Condor Racing. They are also professionally powder coated black by Total Coatings. Looking for $350 + your stock forks.

OOPS for FZ1 This was just re-done by Sargent for warranty repair of a cracked pan. It is essentially a brand new seat. Selling my bike in the spring so not going to put this back on. I do have the document tube, it is just not pictured. Asking $325
