As others have said, if you have to buy cheap, do it with the sockets and wrenches...not the torque wrenches or ratchets. My Mastercraft toolbox is a full of Snap-On ratchets...and a Snap-On 3/8 dial torque wrench that has never failed. On a side note about the Mastercraft tools, my local CT...
Just my take on things...
1.) Manual will spec tire psi for factory supplied tires that is "happy medium". I inflate my tires just below what the tire says FWIW, leaves room for PSI build up when hot.
2.) Start with the level 4 you have now. When you 2-up the wife, fine tune if needed.

I know the OP isn't stoked about the Sv650 b/c of lack of fairings...but don't forget the SV650S, the faired version! Once I master my GS500F, I'm pretty sure this will be my next ride.
