I'd be out there ATGATT, but I haven't ridden street for years now. It's hot, but not as hot as that pavement on bare skin. I never understood riding a sport bike in shorts/t-shirt with a back protector either, but I guess as long as your not paralized, you could suffer through the rash?

I'll agree with you Duster. Not trying to sound cold, but I don't buy the accidents happen either. Somewhat related is that I'm a certified forklift instructor and licenser as part of my job. First sentance to every student is "It's always your fault" in that they didn't take into account...

I've run both, and the 209 do have a grip advantage, but not much. I'd use up the Q2 and enjoy the awesomeness that is Calabogie.

In fairness to them (and me as I had an X on my back as well) the differential in lap times might have been a bit overwelming. In my case, I'd been away from bikes for a couple of years and was stepping up from an SV to a 600 with literally a couple of spins around the block on the new bike...

There used to be a person out of London area, Morton I believe was his name. He did a header pipe for my car years ago and that held up really well for several years.

Avoid Fireball Coatings in Erin, unless you want a "high temp" coating that flakes off in less than a year.

Re: Handles.... My first name and the car in my avatar. I've spent more money on it than I care to remember. Hell, my wife only knows of about a third of the money spent on the X. It's a disease, just like the bike.

My tester at Hamilton, Susan was resonable. I asked her before hand regarding posted limits and flow of traffic and her response was ride as the situation dictates.

I just passed today at Hamilton. Test is very easy IF you follow the checklist. Thanks to Car2slo for sharing this :D
