    Michael Scott joins GTAM

Welcome! We stayed in Maryville, which is a town not too far from the Dragon. It was good because we did a rain day in town, where there's a mall and a nice local brewery nearby.

    Sportbike Track Gear

Purchased Arai Corsair V and Shoei X12 from them before...shipped right to my door :) OP: glad you are enjoying your SHARK helmet. I like mine over my Arai because the padding is just out of this world!

    Kahuna closing

Re: Kahuna closing? Just because most car dealerships don't do it, doesn't mean it's a bad business model. I understand people don't want to work weekends, but there are also folks who don't mind working weekends and having a couple week days off. Think about it...

    Kahuna closing

Re: Kahuna closing? ^ +1. Also, still there is no shop who has their service dept. opening 7 days a week. Doesn't mean the mechanics have to work 7 days with no days off, just mean that some may work the weekend and take 2 weekdays off.... workforce management is still a new concept in this...

    Washing helmet liner?

I wash with baby shampoo. And in between washes, I do a quick once-over with baby wipes after rides.

Bickle Gloves? (Bickle GP Race Glove)

+1. I ride with them all year long. Even at temperatures upwards of 30+, my hands feel cool and dry. If you get clammy/sweaty hands easily, that maybe a different story.

What was your next bike after a 250? Thoughts/regrets?

I went from a Ninja 250 to a Ninja 650. Same nimble-ness... if not more. I find the 650 a bigger, heavier version of the 250. Fun bike, you won't regret it.

Gardner construction could take as long as TWENTY YEARS.

this is the largest racket on the city of Toronto. 20yrs of job security. Why not just tear it down and rebuild it? I'm sure it won't take 20 years.

    GTAM Member review/feedback

Your sense of entitlement is laughable... kids these days... Common courtesy is dead. edit: I actually like this idea of feedback on members (buyer/seller) CBC, your idea got my vote!

A wild idea to protect bikes in a condo

Nothing is fail-proof. You maybe able to get it to Six Sigma level, but never 100%.

A wild idea to protect bikes in a condo

Too many "what ifs"... same if the garage door cable could've snapped or just something dented the rail preventing the door from opening, what happens then? I see this as a non-issue. If the guards are paying attention to the cam every so often, he/she will know there's a vehicle blocking the...

To the idiot who wouldn't move out of the way of my ambulance....

Wouldn't the city make a ton of cash by installing dash cam on all emergency vehicles and send out tickets to the ones who failed to yield/stop? That's way more effective than generating revenue with speed traps.

    Speedworx Superbike Service

+1 Speedworx is awesome. Fawaz really knows how to take care of customers. *For those who lives downtown, it's pretty easy to go pick up the bike. Take the GO train/bus to Centennial Station and it's a half hour ride that literally drops you off right by the mall across the street, which...

Powered Kickstand For a Motorcycle, Interested? Feedback?

Not interested in the powered kickstand (even if it's free) Now, if powered rotor blades pop up at the tail for the bike to turn into a mini-helicopter....

    Watch your six

Glad you are okay OP. When I'm on the bike, I'm always checking my mirrors, even at traffic lights and stops. One time on University Ave southbound stopped at Queen, I saw this car coming up fast from behind. Then a split second later, I heard tire squeeching. I had to pop my bike forward...
