I usually look at buying a bike and a car in similar ways...

This weekend, I got a trade-in quote for $4.9K+tax
If you look at all the money net-net I am potentially losing.. its around $4K (losing like...
Advice as a new rider -- I am one too... practice clutch work... It's probably WAYYYY understated in the M2 classes... Within a few weeks of riding my bike... good clutch work will help you in stop-go traffic... putting in 1st gear and go... inching yourself to make a left hand turn... inching...
ok.. hit me up if you are ever tinkering with the bike...
I put up
1) Quad Lock Mag Safe mount
2) Slip on exhaust
3) ST2 Blinking Brake Lights
4) Tyga Tail tidy
can show you how I did it... if you ever want...

and like @ifiddles mentioned... sit on as many bikes as you can and see how you feel... you may like the look of sportbikes.. but wait until you are hunched over for miles on in.. its not until...
Not trying to push you away from the Grom.. but do talk to the instructors and folks on here as to why to Grom or not to Grom.. I think its a fun 2nd bike.. but for a daily commuter.. I'd say get something bigger so at least you can get in and out of harms way... As @Evoex says.. the pick up for...

Either way.. congrats and be safe!
I was a new rider last year... and for me.. I think the most nerve racking thing was getting on the my...

Sincerely want to see there is a way around it...
Situation...
I wear glasses. I have an HJC RPHA 11 Pro helmet with Pinlock insert... and I find the breath deflector is not really directing my exhaled air to the bottom part of the helmet... so whenever the weather gets a little...

but to those...
