Dangerous, but not as bad as this ******* in a yaris who tries to pass 3 bikes using the oncoming lane as we were all trying to slow down for a left turn. Excuse the large image.
I don't disagree that the seller could have handled it better, but try understanding his point of view.
There are a lot of tire kickers and dreamers out there and frankly an email as written out by the OP certainly doesn't seperate himself from that pack.
Not that I'm saying the OP is a tire...
I agree with Macs on this. All the pertinent information is on his ad alongside with lots of photos. You should assume responsible seller to have their uvips and if not its 20$ and a quick trip to the MTO.
In my opinion, you're asking redundant questions. I would reply begrudgingly to you, but...
I think i get #1 the most. Even though i've specifically stated that if the ad is still up then the bike is still available. Worst part is 50% of the time that I get an email asking if it's available, they don't follow up after.
#3 is probably the most infuriating as at least if they waste my...
Rented from EagleRiders in Orlando and I think Matt(?) helped us out. Great experience! The harley fatboy was great, but the awkward looks from all the elderly was interesting because I was probably the only Asian not in the touristy areas on this monstrous harley.
Ever wanted to squid for...
Wow, I assume he's probably going claim that he felt his life was threatened. Probably should have just learned from the NY incident and ran over the motorcyclists with his car, probably would have gotten a much better chance of being free riding off the windfall of the NY incident.
Makes me...
Ever been on the receiving end of road rage to this extreme? Obviously we don't have gun laws like the states, but ever think someone would be so mad at your riding that they would go beyond running you over?
"A man accused in a road rage shooting is being held in jail on a a $1 million bond...
While that is very cool. I was looking at helmets such as the AGV K3 - 5 Continents and at MSRP it's roughly $230. Not that it's expensive per say, but I'd always prefer to buy stuff when it's on sale.
But yea, custom paint on a helmet? That would be insanely unique and amazing.
If you take a closer look you'll notice that the tail fairing is actually rashed badly and is cracked. The bike was crashed badly enough that the cover actually had to be replaced also. The Tank Cover is also damaged.
Overall it just seems shady b/c the side that went down is fully sticker...
Thanks for the replies, but I was being unclear. I meant to ask if there were anything I should look out for in regards to bikes that have already been brought up from the States. I wouldn't be going down to NY to pick up the said bike in the link i provided as this seller said he would be doing...
I was wondering if there is anything I should know about when buying a bike that has been brought up from the states? Especially ads that say they are in the process of doing so.
For example...
Leatherique has worked wonderfully in rejuvenating my old leather seats. For Leatherique you simply apply their oil, let it soak, and then you clean it off with their cleaner. A lot of people also use Lexol with great success.
