I have a Z750 (almost identical to the Z1000), and its a great bike. Its comfy for the long rides with its upright seating position. Fast enought to keep up with the supersports on the street without having to pay the insurance premium. The engine has a bit of vibrations, but it think thats...

A good time, at a well organized event. There were lost of ppl, and the line ups were long but suzuki isnt to blame. There were a ton of bikes, and i think i had the most fun on the drz as someone already mentioned.
